Best Western Champions Forest Inn and Suites

I thought the hotel was going to be good until I got to my room and noticed a dead bug on the floor next to the bed. Then as I tried to nap after traveling, a roach crawled on me! I barely slept at all after that, in fact I left early. Would not recommend.

Lived in this area for 18 years Stayed because I was in between moves. If you have a need to stay in this area this is the only hotel in its class. Hotels in vicinity I would not stay for free. Closest hotels that compare are on SH 249 / Loretta Road area. Stay here you will not be disappointed. It's a hidden gem not easy to see from the street.

I will start with saying the staff were professional, and very friendly. The hotel appeared clean but, once you left the lobby and started down the hall it smelled really bad . My room was on the second floor and once we got off the elevator the odor was even stronger, we notice plug-ins throughout the hall and once we got into the room which was clean, there were plug ins but it was not helping at all, the room smelled like mold. After sitting in the room only for a few minutes my throat , eyes and head started to hurt. I went downstairs to let them know that the room smelled like mold and they agreed to move us to a room on the first floor. It had the same odor but it did not smell moldy and my heard, throat and eyes stopped hurting. The carpet throughout was filthy as well. I am traveling back to Houston this week and had a room reserved but i canceled it. I will not stay there again.

Bad: The bathroom door literally screeched when you opened it, the room was musty smelling, the hallway stank of smoke our whole stay, and there were no carts anywhere to be found when we checked in.

The breakfast did not have much variety or abundance. I expected more in that area but everything else about our stay was good. The muffins that we did end up grabbing for breakfast were good.

Terrible Stay I Don’t Recommend For Anybody

Breakfast was ok. When we got there around 10 pm, the receptionist was on the phone and she tried to help us while she was on the phone but it took a while so that was a bit annoying since it was so late. The receptionist the next morning was super sweet.

Pool was not usable due to a problem with the gate around the pool. Breakfast was ok but frequently ran out of coffee and bacon and sausage. Rooms were ok, but showers tend to leak water onto the floor. Property is in a quiet area where there are empty commercial properties. Lots of stores and restaurants within easy driving distance, not many within walking distance.
