Sky Villa Hua Hin Guesthouse - Adults-Only

Sue and her lovely ladies (Nany and Meaw) made us feel so welcome. They are delightful - friendly, funny and always offering help if needed. Gari made us delicious cakes every Sunday. The hotel is absolutely spotless, the rooms are large, modern and very comfy and lots of extra's are provided (beach towels, use of microwave and toaster, cutlery and bowls in the room etc). It is just a few minutes walk to Bluport for shopping, eating and recreational facilities and is only a short walk to the beach (Soi 77) and is located close to the main road and the various transport options from there. We arrived just before the start of the war in the Middle East and Sue was so helpful when our flights were cancelled - contacting the airline in Bangkok for us, offering to extend our stay. We liked this hotel - and the lovely lovely staff - so much that despite the problems we may face (given the war) we are already looking at coming back next year for a longer stay. The rooms on one side (501 etc) there is a bit of noise from the trains.

The first thing to know is The Sky Villa Guesthouse is absolutely spotless. It is the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed -anywhere. Location: The location was convenient. It’s about 3 blocks from the beach. There’s a mall and grocery store less than a block away. I was able to walk to Cicada night market, BluePort Mall, Market Village mall, other markets and restaurants - all within 50 meters to just over a mile. If you prefer not to walk or want to travel further, transportation is easy and inexpensive. It’s quiet at night. Room: The wifi was very good - no problems with speed or connection! It was nice to have a balcony. The room was spacious and extremely clean. The pillows were perfect in my book. The bed is very firm, but I prefer the bed to be firm so no problems for me there. I know accommodations were made for another guest who preferred not so firm - so that is outstanding. Staff: The staff is wonderful. You couldn’t find better staff anywhere in my opinion. The owner went out of her way to help me when I became very ill with food poisoning. (Side note - I do NOT recommend eating at the Wine Connection in BluPort Mall.). She even took time to go to the pharmacy to get me electrolytes when I could barely get out of bed. That was way above and beyond her duties, and it was so kind. I liked everything. I would be happy to stay there again.

Sky Villa is a wonderful place to stay, so much so that I extended! The staff are happy and hardworking. The premises are kept spotless, and the rooms are comfortable, safe, and clean. Sky Villa is located in a private and convenient location. I could walk everywhere easily, from the beach to malls and to cafes. Sky Villa is great value for money. I was sad to leave! I was welcomed warmly upon arrival by smiling Su who is in the reception. Su is friendly, kind, and caring and is a fountain of knowledge, from the best modes of transportation to eating out. As a solo traveler, it was the lovely conversations that I shared with Su and the staff that made my trip so meaningful. Thank you for a wonderful stay. I will be back!

Sky Villa Guesthouse was excellent accommodation, being in the best location, right next to Bluport Centre and close to the beach and the Bangkok Hospital and many restaurants and shops. It was spotlessly clean and rooms serviced daily. Best of all was the wonderful staff, headed up by Su, and easily the friendliest and most helpful ever experienced by me. Great value for the money. We stayed for medium term, and would really have appreciated a TV streaming service, as is provided by many accommodations. Also, worth noting that bathroom hot water was only slightly warm, not so good for showers!

Book your stay at Sky Villa right away! This was the best accommodation throughout my SE Asia trip. The owners, Gary and Susie, are very friendly. So is the staff at Sky Villa. This was by far the cleanest place that I stayed in all of SE Asia. The beach is a 5 minute walk away. Bluport Mall is also a 5 minute walk. You are close enough to the action but just far enough away to enjoy a quiet sleep. My 2 week stay in Hua Hin turned into a 7 week stay and Sky Villa was certainly a part of that decision. Great location, ultra-clean facility inside and outside, spacious room, comfortable bed, quiet room, strong shower with constant water temperature, a good-sized fridge that keeps things cold, superb air conditioniing, and fast and reliable wifi. The manager, Ms. Somsong, is one of the kindest, warmest, most welcoming people I've ever encountered in my seven decades on this planet. The guest house is a three-minute walk from a large, modern mall with a huge grocery store and numerous modestly-priced eateries. And even at my slow pace, I could walk to the beach in less than ten minutes. We also used the laundry service and for a reasonable rate our clothes came back clean, fragrant and neatly folded. If ten stars is the top rating, this place gets eleven. It is highly recommended. Absolutely nothing to mention here.

The hosts Sue and Garry clearly do all they can to make sure your stay is the best it can be. The entire facility is exceptionally clean and well maintained. The housekeeping staff are very friendly and give warm greetings whenever you encounter them. The rooms have little extras to make your stay comfortable such as knife, cutting board, large fridge, plates, cutlery, pool towels, beach towels etc. Although we never used the pool, it was sparkling clean. The hotel was very quiet at night with good sound proofing from the outside. We stayed a total of 30 nights with two bookings. The location is perfect....close to the beach, the malls, good restaurants, and away from the busy areas.. Of all the places we have started in SE Asia this was the best and I would give a rating of 11 out of 10 if it was an option. The bed was hard compared to what we are used to. The hotel added a mattress topping which helped but still woke up with a sore back. We went to Lotus and bought a topper for 379 baht which solved the problem. The other issues was the pillows were a little hard for my partner, but getting a pillow just right is a struggle

This was the best! Everything was so nice, the room was cleaned every day if you wanted. The staff was lovely and exceptionally helpful. I wanted to stay longer but they were booked. A wonderful place to stay!!

There are many great things about Sky Villa Hua Hin ... starting with our hosts ... very helpful and kind, and the staff were also great!! Our accommodation and the pool area was exceptionally clean and well maintained!! Sky Villa is located within easy walking distance of 2 malls (BluePort & Village Market), with lots of restaurants and entertainment also nearby. Would definitely return to Sky Villa!! Even though it is not located directly on the beach, it is still within walking distance.

Very clean & well maintained property. Beds were comfortable. Electrically heated shower. Extremely friendly staff who all spoke good English. Nice pool with cushioned sun loungers. Elevator. Good fridge & some kitchen utensils. Near nice little restaurant & German bakery. Close to Bluport shopping centre. Absolutely nothing.

The Guesthouse has large, clean rooms with excellent hot water and water pressure. The AC and fast wifi work perfectly. There’s a major mall close by and many restaurants. The staff are the best, friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place.

It was the perfect stay.The staff and owners were very welcoming and very helpful in every regard and were always in a fantastic mood .The location was perfect and located in a fairly quiet part of Hua Hin and perfect if you want a disturbance-free sleep.It is only a couple of mins walk to the Bluport shopping mall through the mall carpark at the end of the laneway behind Sky Villa ,and there was also some little cafe's, restaurants ,and also a Bar or two in easy walking distance from Sky Villa.It was also very easy to access transport into the central entertainment areas from the main road which was a two minute walk from Sky villa.If you cant be bothered going out you can spend a lazy day catching the sun beside the Sky Villa swimming pool.The next time I plan to visit Hua Hin I will be booking SkyVilla well in advance.I would fully recommend this establishment for an easy going care free stay. nothing.
