Great neighborhood location. Lovely staff and the yard and house are very nice. The room was very comfortable and quiet and it is a great location to explore the Imperial City.

The homestay is very charming, staff are super friendly and helpful, and location is a short walk to the entrance of the Citadel. Being next to the Citadel. It is a little further away from downtown Hue

I loved the neighbourhood and the balcony off the shared hallway was a pleasant place to sit. The friendly owner was kind and welcoming. The proximity to the Citadel and old palace within walking distance and the *very excellent* French restaurant a few blocks away make Le Robinet worth a one night stay. The promo photos show a bright room with open curtains and green trees outside, 4 pillows, and a desk. It also states there is a balcony. There was no desk, the bed had only 2 stiff and shapeless foam pillows, no top sheet and while the room was clean, it was negligible whether the top blanket had been recently washed. The room was drearier than the photos with stained curtains and frosted windows so no view unless the glass part is opened wide (but too cold for that), peeling paint in the bathroom and a general sense of disrepair. The balcony is outside the room off the shared hallway which was not clear in the description. I did not realize there are a few dogs on site. This was fine for me as they are well behaved however other dogs would also come in from the street. A bit noisy with occasional scooter noise, accompanying horns, a preschool next door, and a neighbour who had radio talk news on quite loud most of the morning. The hot water heater is small and takes 10 minutes to heat. You need to be quick as it finishes in aprox 2 minutes. If washing hair and need more hot water, you need to turn it off and wait another 10 minutes for it to heat again. That was a bit tedious.

The location is good. The vibe is very local and calm and chill. Price is reasonable

Nice homestay. The staff were nice and tried to accommodate my request for an early check-in. I got a big family room for a very decent price. Room was clean and comfy. The place is well maintained and homely. Very close to the Imperial City, less than 10 mins walk; yet away from the market areas. Seems like a residential neighbourhood; it's calm and quiet. Still plenty of nice restaurants within walkable distance. Overall, a good experience. I only stayed for a night and had no issues. However, I noticed that the clothes I hung out for airing at night were slightly damp in the morning. Nothing major, the clothes weren't wet, but water may be seeping in through the walls. Could be a common problem in the region. But no damage can be seen on the walls, the place looks well maintained.

Perfect place to stay in Hue. Great location and great price for value. In the same place there is also a restaurant - delicious food and lot of vegetarian and vegan options. And you can pet very cute dogs!

Lovely family homestay within the Old Citadel, very close to the Imperial City. Very big comfortable room and food available. Free bicycles to borrow. Away from the main city so nice and quiet and not a touristy area.

The homely feeling about the homestay, we only stayed 1 night but it was a great location for visiting the Citadel a d local shops surrounding and the recommendations from the host were excellent. We went to the Hong Mai rice pancake place and it was amazing food! Beds were a little bit stiff but still able to get an okay sleep

Everything including the lush garden, the colonial flair of the rooms, the great location, the kindness of the staff (they went at great length to help me retrieve my headphones which I stupidly forgot)... I can only recommend! N/A

Helpful and friendly staff! Bathroom on the balcony, so ever time you need to use the toilet, you have to go ‘outside’

Lovely and super welcoming staff, perfect location and amazing garden! The room was simple but overall ok, also considering the price, so I highly recommend this homestay! I would have appreciated a blanket along with the duvet

My favorite place in Vietnam. The place has a lot of character and feels like home. The garden is really nice and the staff is the sweetest. Food was also good.
