Dating from 1889, this elegant chalet-style hotel in Igls, 0.6 mi from the new Patscherkofel Cable Car and 3.1 mi from Innsbruck, offers panoramic views over Innsbruck and the mountains, a private golf course, and a large spa area with an indoor pool. The individually designed rooms and suites at Sporthotel IGLS are furnished in an elegant Alpine style and offer panoramic mountain views. They feature a mini-bar, a seating area, satellite TV, and a bathroom with hairdryer. Free WiFi is available in the entire hotel. A set menu of classic Austrian cuisine and Tyrolean specialties made from seasonal products from nearby organic farms are served in the restaurant. Loved everything ! Location in Igls village which is 10 min, or by bus pickup right in front of hotel, excellent mountain views, indoor pool and spa, free car parking.

The room got quite warm as there was no air conditioning.

Comfortable room, available parking The room was at the front of the hotel and noisy, WiFi was very poor on the property and not working in my room. The response when asked about it was sorry nothing I can do about it.

Clean room, nice view to the montains, location, free parking behind the hotel. I got confirmed that vegan options are provided for breakfast (via booking messages and at reception the day before), at the day of the breakfast it turned out that kitchen was not informed and they do not have vegan options. After showing as proof messages, the personeel suggested to return me money for breakfast (they also said that they can not provide me smth now because supermarkets were closed that day). Luckily I had food with us, just in case. My partner is not vegan, and he enjoyed the tasty and diverse breakfast. If it would not be this situation I would rate this hotel higher.

No comfy chairs in room. No carpet by the bed. Floor and bathroom were dirty. Shower is beyond decent! Hotel is old and not maintained well.

It had everything you could want. Beautiful, well maintained, great sauna and pool. The staff was so disorganized. I had changed my reservation months before my stay, but it never got changed in their system. So, when we arrived late at night, they didn’t have a room for us. We had to stay in a smaller room than what we paid for that night and then change rooms the next day, which was pretty annoying but no big deal. No credit was given for the trouble, and in fact when we checked out their tried to charge us for the old reservation because they STILL hadn’t changed it. We worked everything out, but it was a bit of cluster. They just don’t seem to really be on the ball. Also, they need to upgrade their cocktail offerings lol.

Nice equipment gym, lovely wellness area, friendly staff, spacious room. Coffeemaker in the room didn't work, but staff got me a coffee downstairs.

We have stayed here several times and always found it comfortable and well staffed. We enjoyed the restaurant and lounge facility. We appreciated that they had parking and were well located in the village. The rooms were very spacious!

Welcoming staff the minute we walked through the door. Room was spacious and bed extremely comfortable. The room had everything we could possibly need. In house restaurant had a great menu. We booked the welcome package which not only included the most amazing breakfast spread I’ve ever seen but also the bus into town and up to one of the main look out spots. Unfortunately there were clouds while we were there so did not get to see the mountains in all their beauty but the hotel and conveniences made the trip very enjoyable. I would definitely stay at Sporthotel Ingls again. Nothing. It was perfect.
