STAGE 12 Hotel by Penz has an excellent location in the heart of Innsbruck. Everything is within walking distance, which made exploring the city incredibly easy. The hotel itself is modern, stylish, and clearly designed to create a premium atmosphere. From the lighting and materials to the décor, there’s a lot of attention to detail, and it feels elegant without being over the top. The room was comfortable, modern, and exactly what we expected. The parking garage was practical, although not inexpensive. We appreciated being able to leave the car there for the day while exploring Innsbruck on foot. What left me with mixed feelings was the arrival experience. Even though I had already prepaid the room in full, I was asked for an additional €100 security deposit at check-in. I understand that hotels have policies to protect themselves, but the way it was communicated made me feel more like I was being screened for potential damage than welcomed as a guest. For a hotel that invests so much in creating a premium experience, I expected the hospitality to reflect that same level of care.

Location and convenient parking. It was very quiet considering location of the hotel. Staff were very courteous. Coffee machines and one of two elevators were broken. A little pricey.

Location and helpful staff

The room itself was beautiful and spacious - I loved the little reading nook in my room and the bath was great (a bit tall) but clean. The hotel itself is beautiful and the staff were very welcoming. Some days the room was cleaned really late....so I skipped cleaning one day just to chill in the A/C. And the gym is pretty small but really sufficient. And there are two elevators so sometimes you wait a bit to catch one..it's a time-of-day kind of thing.

Bicycle friendly, underground parking. Great location, walking distance to restaurants and shopping

Free access to laundry facilities, great location.

Excellent location. The rooms with the Mountain View were amazing. Breakfast provided every food combination you could want! Hot. Cold, protein or fiber! Nice on site bar on the first floor to have a cold drink; it’s not part of the hotel- but still nice. Nothing ! Very pleased

Central location, everything within walking distance. The mountain view from balcony/terrace was perfect. The rooms could be a bit bigger.

Very nice hotel in the heart of the city. We had the family room which advertised a curtain that could be drawn to separate the bunk beds. We didn't have that , but it wasn't a big deal. Nice size room, especially given the location. We bought breakfast one morning and it was very expensive. It was a nice breakfast , but I don't think worth how expensive it was. Overall I would stay at this hotel again.

Rude ladies at the reception, they deducted more money from my credit card later after checking out ! For a minor spot of cleaning! I’ll not recommend it to any one and I’ll not stay at the property again ..racist & rude staff ?

Location, cleanliness All good actually but the entrance is a bit tricky, gotta follow the signs meticulously

The hotel was very nice and elegant. The room was okay. The staff was great and kind, they were the best part. The bathroom was not very clean and the tub shower head was broken. It sprayed water everywhere so we could not use it for the kids. The shower was okay but not a great option for littles.

Location, cleanliness and views of mountains were awesome! Rooms were smaller than expected but manageable.
-
Very clean modern room. Beautiful view of mountains. Amazing location. Huge breakfast options. Nothing
-
Perfect location. Nice, clean room. Nice view from the room. A room in the basement to store our ski equipment. We could store our bags even after checkout. Nothing

Excellent location and amenities. It was quiet, yet very close to the bustling part of town. The cost was more than we usually pay, but it was OK.

I had a great stay at STAGE 12 Hotel by Penz. The rooms were clean and spacious, which made it really comfortable to unwind after a long day. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the service throughout the stay was excellent. One of the best perks is the location — the hotel is inside a gallery, which is a huge plus. Having plenty of shops, restaurants, and places to explore right nearby made everything super convenient. Overall, a fantastic spot to stay in Innsbruck and I’d definitely recommend it. Wish the rooms had a smart TV.
