Beautiful old hotel with a quality interior. Staff friendly and location ideal for train station and Alt Stadt. After coming from Italy there is an expectation that rooms will have AC and fridge but you need to read the small print carefully when booking.

Very convenient to train station and to the old town. Well appointed rooms. Breakfast was quite good. Excellent storage facility on site for a very reasonable fee. We left our larger bas there while we went backpackin for a week.

Good central location. Good breakfast. No hot water. Complained to management. They visited the room on my insistence and agreed the water was cold but insisted that the building was old, they had to heat thousands of litres water and that I should have run it for much longer. Eventually they got hot water running. No time for us to have a shower, as a train to catch.

room smelled bad, the staff lacked hospitality training (or care), they charged for things I've never seen before like extra pillows or credit card fee because the international card declined the purchase, there was no power outlet next to the bed, it was an overall bad experience.

Location No shower curtain, took 2 days to get fixed, forgot to do cleaning service, no A/C, simple breakfast not worth 22 euros per person. Very dated property.

Nothing at all! We arrived at 8:45 pm after driving for a long day. Nobody was there to welcome us nor were they any instructions on or near the door to alert us on what to do. We called several times. No answer. We messaged several times and again, no answer. It was raining and we were tired. We were able to book with another hotel on the fly and did not have to sleep in our car. The next morning, we drove to the location to request a refund for the unused first night and the pre-booked subsequent two nights. We were told that it was not an option and threatened with legal procedures by who, we assumed, was the owner. We left and stayed the following two nights in the "rescue" hotel.

The room was very minimal and needs updating. Breakfast supposedly was included in my rate but I didn’t want breakfast and wasn’t even there for breakfast one day.

Location was an easy walk from the train station and old town. Clean and quiet property. We had a room with a balcony and it was beautiful to sit outside at night. Nothing

We had a spacious corner room that was very quiet. We loved the breakfast which included many delicious choices every morning. I always feel better knowing the hotel has front desk staff 24 hours, so I would have liked this.

the only 2 complaints we had are a missing shower curtain in the bathroom and lack of power outlets by the bed. Breakfast was sub-optimal : no hot prepared food , vegetables and fruits options were very limited

Clean, Easy access, Windows you can open fully - Charged me extra €25 for upper floor room with a BETTER view, few days before arrival. When I self checked in it was a lowest floor room. Not a good view at all. 3 out of 10 for the view. They didn’t needed to charge me extra if they cant give me what promised. When I asked said system error/fully booked etc excuses. - No kettle or tea/coffee in the room - No wifi in the room (we were in a corner room) - Very expensive - lot of walking noise from neighbouring rooms. Not going to stay at this hotel again.
