Hotel Cabanas Maria del Mar

It has a clean pool, but it is hot. Facilites are old, yet work ok. The room is dark.

Location is the only good thing Very outdated and not clean at all, bathroom was NOT clean and dead roaches were on the room, please make yourself a favor and DONT STAY THERE.

Very close to the beach. The air conditioner could be better and our fridge didn’t cool. Our other party had a good fridge. The TVs are ok but not great. No hair dryer so take one. Great location. Good swimming pool. Staff was very nice.

It has the best location in the best part of North Beach. The hotel is in the best location and the area is very nice, but it is neglected; the rooms need maintenance and cleaning.

We were really happy with this hotel. It is a no-frills hotel. But it is clean, right on the beach, and within easy walking distance to everything else. It has a small but clean and nice pool in a beautiful courtyard. The room was good size, with a good air conditioner and fridge. You walk out the door and you are on a super nice beach. We also rented a golf cart right at the hotel front desk for a GREAT price compared to other places. I wouldn't call this a romantic hotel. But for my wife and I, it was plenty romantic. If we go back to Isle Mujeres, we will stay here. I didn't realize that when you go to the bathroom, you are not supposed to put your used toilet paper in the toilet. It goes in the trash can. But I found out this is standard unless you are at something like an expensive all-inclusive. But what bothered me was the maid cleaned and removed the trash only every other day!

shower had no pressure, half the staff were friendly, one individual at the front desk was not helpful or friendly

Walking distance from the ferry. Steps to North Beach (Playa Norte). Friendly front desk staff. Beautifully maintained tropical garden. Clean beautiful pool. Free filtered potable water available by the pool.

No beach area included, very misleading. Rooms smelled terrible and were stuffy. Staff checking us in were soo rude. Rooms smelled bad, no access to beach area but they make it seem like it’s on the beach

Location to beach, accommodating staff, morning coffee and toast thats included provided at beautiful beach restaurant is perfect way to start your day. Water bottle filling stations was a nice perk, too.

Breakfast and location were good, for the price I paid. Water pressure in shower was weak. Water pressure in showered was weak.

The location right on Playa Norte was awesome! It needs a little work to freshen it up.

Dated facilities, needs an upgrade and remodel

Location and pricing is good. No way to secure the room you book. They put you anywhere. So not meeting expectations of what you booked.

Fantastic beach location. Private balcony on second floor overlooking the gardens was fantastic, very large space Rooms were spartan though very clean

location was awesome bed and room were comfortable beach was great Difficult to keep the bathroom from flooding smoke from somewhere drifted into the room
