The pool and location are fabulous. They also had good hot water.

the Old Mexico charm of a beautiful garden, pool, rocking chairs , and one of the best beach views on the island. room was a bit small for 3-4 people, but managable.

Someone came into rooms (locked) while we were gone and stole headphones.They got into the closet where the safe was. Im assuming to steal other items. Luckily we had all important documents, cards etc on us. They even stole a bag from the room next to us while they were out (not part of our group). Very disappointing.

The beds

In line with previous other replies, the best thing about this hotel is the location. The fact that our room was facing the sea&beach was excellent. Also, personnel from reception was great as well, the lady that was on service during our week there was very helpful and friendly As well, in line with previous other comments, this room was probably nice 10-20 years ago. The overall aspect was old. Water pressure for both shower and sink was quite poor. And although the personnel was cleaning the room on a daily basis, it was a 'normal' cleaning, so slightly superficial. But furniture, TV, shower installation etc looked like were cleaned last time years ago. Maybe it costs more to do some serious refurbishments, but a proper cleaning of the room (like deep cleaning) it can be done for sure. Such a pity that because of this, some of vacation atmosphere is ruined. At least the fact that I saw previous customer reviews helped not to have a very unpleasant surprise when I arrive. For the price that we paid, again, I expected cleaner room.

The outside was not very well maintained around the pool. The si k had a leak and there was almost no water pressure

It’s beautiful being right on the beach (Playa Norte) but set apart from the rest so it’s quiet and away from the chaos. You have to walk out and around for the beach which keeps random people off the property. The hammocks, palm trees, conch lights, etc really give it a wonderful ambiance. Just a short walk either way to get a really spectacular sunrise and sunset! The staff was nice. It included breakfast at buho’s around the corner (on the beach) with coffee, juice, and toast. You could order from the menu at your own expense. They have great chilaquiles! I didn’t mind because I like white noise when I sleep but the AC unit is very loud. It works well though!

If you want the best Location and the best of you are the beautiful Ocean this is definitely the place. Great price and breakfast Maybe update the rooms a bit

For the price the rooms should be remodeled, we had an electrical issue that left 2 of our rooms without electricity

Ocean view. Easy access. Plumbing not that great. Continental breakfast needs an upgrade.
