The view ... you can't beat it! Alma is always so great!

The island has gotten busier with more traffic along this property than a decade ago. However, proximity to walking areas and shopping are first rate.

The view of the sea was great, the room was clean, and pool and little kitchen area was nice. The bathroom could have been a bit cleaner

Cleanliness, room balcony, pool, location, great staff. My only gripe was the the mini fridge froze everything.

The location and the outside patio area are great. The employees are always helpful and friendly. My room had a smart tv which was so nice while I was sick I was able to watch Netflix. Seems to be a shortage of chairs. The nice patio area could use more tables and chairs.

Loved ocean front corner room! Hammock was great. Also loved windows in bathroom - could literally see and hear ocean while showering! Location was excellent! A few nights it was noisy to sleep however it WAS Carnival so I’m sure that is why. The room (#6 I think), was right next to pool which was fine, but would have liked a bit more privacy on a higher floor.

The location on the water can’t be beat. The balconies with hammock is a beautiful feature and watching the sun rise over the water is amazing. The pool and lounge area are also a bonus. It is quiet -not party atmosphere so very relaxing. The staff are friendly and clean thoroughly. There is almost no water pressure for the shower-but that is island-wise these days. This was my 4th time at Rocamar and each time you can’t guarantee what floor you will be on. I wish we could have a guarantee our room will be on a higher floor and not way on the corner if we pay a bit more.

Location is great, wonderful view of the sea and malecon and close to downtown. Not a long walk to North beach either. The staff were super nice; the pool and outdoor areas were nice and clean and great to have to meet up with other people you were traveling with. Really my only complaint would be water pressure in the shower. There was no pressure, I couldn't even wash my hair in shower, had to use the sink, hardly even enough pressure to rinse the soap off.

Location is fantastic, with ocean waves just outside the window. Fresh coffee was available next to front office on about 1/2 the days we were there. Some smell from plumbing; fresh coffee was not available 1/2 the days we were there

Location is wonderful! Staff is amazing. Love the availability of water & coffee by the lobby. Thick, hard pillows got tossed after waking w a stiff neck that hurt for days. Septic smell strong, can surely be addressed.

Beautiful view! The bed was super comfortable. The ocean waves were like having a perfect noise machine at night. Our room had a broken lock. We could get into the room, but it would take us 5 minutes to get the door unlocked from the inside. And being on the 3rd floor… yikes! We reported several times to management, but not only did they not fix it, but they weren’t even sympathetic or apologetic.

Spectacular ocean views including sunrise and moonrise on the ocean. The sound of rolling waves as you nod off to sleep. You would typically pay much more for this experience. Could the hotel use some upgrades: sure. New shower heads, better pillows, etc. All this would improve the experience for very little cost.

Location is great. Only 3 blocks away from the ferry and the main street. Gorgeous views of the ocean. Our room was at the corner and the balcony had the best view. Also great views by the pool. Hotel could use some updating but can’t beat that it is one of the best locations in the area. The one thing would be that the beds are hard.

Good location: Short walk to ferry, restaurants and beaches. Quiet area. Lovely sunrise view from balcony/gigantic window. Heavy curtains to block out hot sun during the day. Comfortable bed. It takes about 5 minutes to get hot water, which seems wasteful on an island where the supply is probably limited. The wifi was inconsistent.
