Location to Main Street and ultramar docks. Small garden and cool plunge pool in shade from hot sun and loud streets. Main customer service people need training or need to change jobs. I am a Customer Service expert executive from a Fortune 500 company and if you have a boutique hotel you need to exude customer service given it doesn’t have amenities like 5 star larger hotel chains. It’s all about smiles and courtesy. I speak Spanish so the front desk shouldn’t discourage me when I’m trying to practice for over 17 yrs and other local Mexicans listen and try to communicate because I know enough to get by. I was not amused at their making fun of my Spanish which is supposed to be embraced as an honour when other cultures try to speak your local language. My friend wanted to leave her bag before she got on the ferry in my room and take a quick shower. Instead of stating clear strict rules they didn’t accommodate this even when it was just for an hour before her ferry. I would have paid $20 more but there wasn’t an option other than paying for another person overnight. This is what 5 star hotels do. None of the other boutique hotels do this. They accommodate to ensure repeat customers. When I asked a question the front desk said read the 1 page contract. If they know the answer there is a simple polite way of saying “yes there is a security deposit for the safe and it’s $X”. It takes less than 30 seconds and it’s baseline 101 customer service to communicate. If I wanted to interact with a paper then front desk should be an iPad and the owners would save money because the customers would not have to deal with bad entitled employees’ bad attitudes. Dogs barking should be noted in hotel description if this is normal.

The swimming pool area is not the best. Consider the pool just to refresh a little bit but not to stay comfortable for a long time. There are only 3 chairs to chill and the pool is too close to some rooms.

Room was ok but can’t sleep all night dogs barking No English from front desk no beach towels limited cleaning
-
Confortable, good A/C, good WiFi, location, close to the ferry, great place to chill Nothing

Good location, very close to the port. The receptionists

The doors...it was a balcony slider glass door
-
Location, room having two separate spaces, pool Bed was a bit hard, but linens were good.

Wi-Fi was spotty and not consistent. Had to restart the Roku every five minutes or so while trying to watch a movie. When you arrived, you had to sign a contract saying no alcohol in the hotel yet there were people drinking there and when asking the front desk directly, they said it was OK. Very conflicting.

Location! Location! Location! Beach down the street, ferry terminal down the street and a block away from all the bars and restaurants. Loved the inner courtyard, the pool was okay, free water in the lobby was great, hot water always, decent wifi, semi good water pressure in the shower, felt very safe. There wasn’t much. It really was just the dogs and the rooster. But honestly you only hear them from the hours of 7/8am to around 10pm. Not consistently though, sometimes you don’t hear them for long periods of time during the day. We weren’t bothered by it. It became a joke, so if you’re easily amused and usually out and about during the day it’s not an issue.

Excellent location, just blocks from the ferry and downtown. Excellent value for the money.

The pool is smaller than I anticipated and in a corner in the back beween 2 walls. I don't think it has much sun going torwards it in the daytime. But it didn't matter, because we preferred to be at a paradise beach in the daytime. I don't think the property can do much about it, but it was super windy during our stay, and one if our rooms was on the second floor, and the wind was making my windows clap a lot all night long on the second floor.

Awesome little place! Close to everything Isla Mujeres have to offer! The staff is top notch! Would definitely go back there!

The facilites are beautiful and it was very quiet during the night. The staff was very nice since they stored our luggage after the check out so we could keep on enjoying our stay. We stayed only one night, I don't have anything to complain

I loved everything about the property! I had a very wonderful tropical Courtyard with a nice pool and lounge chairs. It was quite surprising to walk in off the street in the middle of town into this little oasis! The rooms were big comfortably laid out nice and bright and clean. Loved that there was a fridge. Price was fantastic for the location and the size of the rooms and a pool! The staff was super helpful and friendly. I have no complaints would definitely return! Just the neighbourhood dogs!

Location was amazing Loved the pool and plants Dogs next door very loud

Clean comfortable rooms in a very central location of town. Great for accessing the beaches and the restaurants etc staff were friendly and welcoming and the hotel grounds are cute and relaxing Although you cant hear the town or bars from the hotel, the dogs behind the hotel are really quite noisy, in the night and morning. Its no fault of the hotels, just unfortunate that the neighbours leave their dogs outside all day and night.

The male receptionist was very rude, with an attitude problem. He also didn't want to provide more complementary coffee unless I bride him and to leave the bags at the reception for a few hours after the checkout, he charged us extra money and most certainly stole the money from the owner. Never in my life I was asked for money to keep my bags, outrageous! Also, the rooms are tiny and uncomfortable.

We were woken up at 6am everyday for 5 days to the sound of a pack of dogs barking (I’m assuming the neighbors). They’d do this late at night, and early in the morning. It was incessant and exhausting (though I understand not the property’s fault. Front desk was not very nice, but cleaning staff were

This is our go to when we visit Isla. Great staff and love the location. Always friendly.

Great location. Pleasant staff. Barking door next door during the day but that’s beyond hotel’s control.
