location There were bed bugs!!!!!!! which bitten me and now one week later still have rashes and had to go to the doctor for treatment. And I did tell the staff, after the first night I saw them, they said they would fix it, but they didn't. And also they were not surprised at all, probably they were aware that they had that problem there, or someone else complained before. They were not surprised, they did not ask for more details, they just said, they will send somebody to clean the room, and when I insisted that this is serios, the man at the reception told me that they are harmless, they appear from the heat starting this season. And now, after I have posted the review, they are calling me a liar, and they even say I do not know what I am talking about, saying that I brought them to the them, which can not be posssible, there were a lot of them, and again: back then they did not fight my claim to get rid of them, they just said they will send someone to clean. Ando also now, seeing my revieww, they are answering to my review in a rude manner telling me to shut up. The reason for which I did post the review is to help other travelers avoid this situation, because for me is bad since I came back from that hotel: I had to go to the doctor, for treatment for the bed bugs bites, and since it was a severe one, it turn into a few days of big disconfort and pain, a lot of costs for doctor appointments, treatment, but also anxiety due to the ideea of having those bed bugs in my house, brought in my luggage from that hotel, and also time, effort and money to find specialis to come and do infestation control, and getting rid of them is very difficult. And all of this could be avoided if the hotel would have treated it's own problem. I am curios how many other travelers have had the same problem. I can even say the room number for others to avoid at least the room, if they are in that hotel: room 2001. Safe travels for everyone!

Great location, helpful staff Breakfast could be better . Turkey has many kind of breads .it would be better to have fresh local breads. Towels very old . Towels needs to be change.

Breakfast, location, 2 bottles of water every day. I booked and stayed at Burj al Istanbul (not sure why the name of the hotel is different now). Rooms are extremely small. I paid extra to get the largest room (the suite) and it was the size of an average room in all the other hotels I stayed in. Rooms are seriously outdated. Need work asap. Furniture in stains. Appliances need repairs. The hotel is SMOKING. Even if you don’t smoke, other guests do and your room will be filled with smoke. Front desk allows smoking. I actually mentioned once and they said it’s ok. The housekeeping comes every day. Not sure whether they do anything but I know they fold your used towels. How do I know this? I stayed 10 nights and had a towel with holes the whole time. Not sure why do they need to be folded again and again. The service was not pleasant at all. The person at the Front desk talked like I am a charity case. Even “good morning” through teeth. Usually Turkey is known for customer service. Definitely not this hotel. Location is good, somewhat noisy but didn’t bother me. However, you will have to walk to or from the nearby road if you are coming by taxi.

Clean all ok In city center best location

Overall, everything was in order. The location was perfect with easy access to the city, the rooms were clean, and everything was neatly organized in its proper place. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious and of high quality. I didn’t encounter anything that didn’t go well; everything was very well organized and ran smoothly throughout the entire stay. From arrival to departure, every detail was thoughtfully handled, creating a calm and very pleasant experience.

Breakfast was okay. I'm not a fan of Taksim but it is located in the heart of it for those who prefer to be there. It was noisy in room, not only from outside but also from internal noise from the facilities. Bad and slow WIFI as most of places in Istanbul. Room's door locker was not working with my card so i had to always ask receptionist to open for me with master card, it was unpleasant. Breakfast time was limited for 2 hours only.

Nice Nothing

Room size and furniture

Very comfortable place and a perfect staff
-
The room was extremely small and lacked sufficient natural light. The windows were practically unusable because they faced directly toward a multi-story restaurant across the alley, making it impossible to open the curtains for privacy. Additionally, the towels and bed sheets were very old and worn out, almost to the point of being torn. Overall, the condition of the room did not meet expectations.
