Hotel The Public

Дружелюбный персонал. Стены картонные, слышно все до мелочей, что происходит в соседнем номере и в коридоре. Шумоизоляции нет. Дверь в туалет была чуть сломана и до конца не закрывалась. Пространство между кроватью и телевизором отсутствует, пройти ко второй кровати сложно. Завтрак скудный.

The location is perfect. The staff are amazing many thanks to Dogan & Veysi. Most friendliest and sweetest stuff they deserve a big bonus for them. Room 604 was not my favorite at all

The place is beautiful on the outside and the breakfast is lovely too. It is right near istikial street so close by to all public transport and good food. Hotel architecture and aesthetics indeed give an ancient fort feel with modern amenities. However, the pictures of the room did not really match the reality- the walls do not look the same- rest all are fine. Also if you don't know the language, the communication with staff can be a bit tricky but hotel was very clean and breakfast has a huge spread. Good for a short stay! the room walls did not look the same as the pictures- we asked the manager he said, it was the last room available that's why- so maybe the other rooms match the pictures!

Location at Istiklal st is outstanding Bed and below was horrible totally not acceptable

The entire staff is very friendly and polite. The young gentleman Doğan has helped me to switch to a room which was much quieter after I suffered with the noise after the first two nights. The breakfast is awesome. There are so many selections including the daily specials. The noise from the street. The hotel located right next to the major shopping pedestrian street. If your room is single windowed, you can hear the noise all night long (Yes all night long?） . However there are rooms with two windows which largely reduce the noise level at night.

Excellent location in Taksim. Meters from Istikal street. Th e room and the hotel installations are great. Modern style on an ancient building. All the staff is very kind. Nothing bad.

Amazing location. Only used public transport like 2 times during my whole stay. Room and hotel facilities are great. Staff is friendly and kind. I feel like value for money paid is unmatched. Our room didn’t have natural light, it didn’t bother me much but would be nice to note. The fridge inside our room didn’t work, and despite reporting it on the first night it only got fixed towards the end of my stay. Breakfast could be more varied, it was the same everyday. Nothing major really, just these small details, but considering the grat price you pay, can’t complain much. Overall an amazing stay.

the cleaners were using the Vacuum cleaner at 8 am
