Bvs Bosphorus Pera Hotel & Hammam

Price, just under 50 dollars per night for two people, 2 beds, including breakfast. The wi-fi worked fine. The BREAKFAST was just okay:: looks nice, BUT actual food choices are bread, cheeses, French fries, soggy broccoli (?) really, really bad machine coffee, Tang!! ( no orange juice )... So " Real options " are hard-boiled eggs, tomatoes, cucumbers, water ---if you want to eat healthy...ZERO attention to napkins, clean tables, silverware, salt-pepper, etc. STAFF : front desk guy did the minimum and zero friendly or welcoming. (Hate Americans??) We wanted to watch the World Cup game and inquired about watching on the T.V. at the upstairs terrace...he said " we could go ask them " ( really ?) the television connection for the entire hotel, including our room, was not connected for our entire stay ( they did not pay the cable bill ?) ROOM: Asshole front desk guy gave us a first floor street side room, the noisiest possible location...the shower had a broke shower head, and obvious worn area's.

The location is good. Galata Tower, Kasımpaşa ferry station, bus station and fruit shops are nearby. The view from breakfast lounge is awesome. I liked that there was also watermelon, very good strawberries and cereal. They didn’t change our blankets for several days. There was often a bad smell in the corridor. A/C didn’t work sometimes, but most times it was good. The Wi-Fi worked only 50/50. The TV didn’t work at all, and staff member told that it is not working anywhere. The breakfast lacks protein, because there is only omelette, boiled eggs, some sausages and cheese. The coffee and juices are not drinkable, as they are made powdered and from machine.

The Building Charging guests daily for basic amenities like tea, shampoo, and tissues is simply unacceptable for a four-star property. The maintenance of the property was far below acceptable standards — door hinges, wardrobe fittings, and table fixtures were all in poor condition and clearly in need of repair. The hot breakfast options were extremely limited and barely adequate — essentially just eggs and fried potatoes, which is simply not enough for a hotel of this category.

Beautiful hotel, excellent staff, very good breakfast and also view from the restaurant on the top floor. No concerns. Would stay again.

the canal and city view (when paid for), cleanliness, breakfast taste, music inside the hotel and the piano music in the restaurant, comfortable bed and plenty of storage in the room noise isolation - we could hear all the sounds from behind the walls, no available juices at breakfast and everytime the same choices (not enough pastries, instant coffee, not enough napkins etc.), small bathroom, a little ignorant staff

Water views, good location. Easy access to M2 A bit of a hike to T1 tram stop but not that bad if you like it to walk and get daily exercise.

Was rather clean and most staff (except one) were helpful. The location was also pretty good. The toilet bidet was not working and the staff could not fix it and said this is normal. We had 2 occasions of power outages but the issue resolved after not too long. They also cut the water off with very short notice which was uncomfortable.

Very friendly and helpful front desk staff. Clean and comfortable rooms. Appealing exterior. Location is central and easily reached from the main pedestrian area (Istikal Avenue) - BUT only once you understand that you must use one specific exit (Kasimpasha) from metro station Sishane. This is absolutely crucial info. Otherwise you will find yourself wandering steep stairs and dimly-lit underpasses in strange neighbourhoods. This should really be communicated better by the hotel. Breakfast is the downside of this hotel. So bad it's beyond ridiculous. None out of two coffee machines working. No plates. Empty trays. No more bread 1 hour before end of breakfast. Indifferent staff not replenishing. We stayed for 6 nights, went for breakfast only on the first morning and skipped the rest. No point wasting your time. There is a decent local place selling delicious freshly-made börek just 3 min down the street, opposite the Guzelce Kasim Pasa Mosque. One more funny thing: if you don't switch on the green light outside your room before leaving, housekeeping won't make your beds, give you new towels, etc. This is the first time I have seen in any hotel.

Very friendly staff, ready to help and resolve any issues. Nice location, very convenient for walk and quick taxi trips. Shisha in the restaurant was weird and overpriced for this quality, like the guys made it for the first time, I would expect not plastic one time tube.

The breakfast was always great, what made it special was the staff. The breakfast staff where always friendly and helpful. I rate the staff 10/10. The coffee in the breakfast, they have this machine which is not up to the standard of the Hotel. It would be nice to have quality coffee included in the package.
