The female dorm was nice with a great view of the Bosporus. The lockers were very big and the beds were super comfy with a privacy curtain and private light. I slept very well. bedding was nice and warm. The location was excellent with great links with the metro station nearby and ferry terminal. in a nice area, pretty quiet. There was a nice area below to socialise and drink coffee. Showers good and hot. Staff were friendly and helpful. The bathroom was quite far away down three floors of steps. Good for fitness though, possibly not great if your desperate to go to the toilet. Quite often no toilet paper in the girls bathrooms in the morning. A door or curtain could be put in the female bathroom between the toilets and shower area for more privacy.

Location is decent, beds are comfortable, excellent value for money, staff are friendly The hostel doesn't really have 'rooms', each floor is an open space without walls or doors, and on each floor there are 20+ beds, with a staircase in the middle. Due to there not being any walls or doors to separate the space, it can get rather noisy in the night if someone is on the phone or using the stairs. These are just minor inconveniences though. My major issue with this property is the toilets and showers, which are all in the basement. In the male facilities, there is constant pooling of water on the floor, walls are damp, mould growing in the showers. Towels are NOT provided, and in the showers there is no place to hang/stow your belongings without having them get wet. Showering in this place is not a pleasant experience - I myself stayed 3 nights and ended up paying money to shower elsewhere (tip! if flying through SAW, kepler club offers 'sleeping pods' by the hour ~12 EUR, and shower access is included!). Of the six toilets, only two are open, and they are both absolutely disgusting. There is also a constant lack of toilet paper. The hostel needs to hire more cleaning staff and address the dampness in the toilet/shower facilities. I paid so little for my stay though that I do not think these issues are worth complaining about to hostel staff. You get what you pay for.

The location is quite good, it's maybe too quiet in the night but it's close to the area around Galata tower where there are a lot of things. The lockers are spacious. The bathrooms are only downstairs, the door to the female bathroom doesn't lock, and sometimes there was no toilet paper for the whole day.

I beg you not to go there. Truly worst experience ever. I had experienced a lot, but this is something else. No doors between rooms, no privacy for women, no privacy at your own bed, no privacy at the toilet or shower, doors are not closing. Any man can see you on the other side. They didn’t even know which bed they should give me because everything was dirty and taken. It’s cold, dirty everywhere, no toilet paper, no facilities at all. Be careful because you most likely will get some disease there. I spend there only a night out of 4. City tax was too high. I paid more than for accommodation itself. It’s wrong. All idea to stay there was wrong omg. Please don’t go there

great location, very close to the metro station and Taksim, communicative personel, big locker with a padlock It was very messy there, I felt the smoke from cigarettes in my room constantly. I struggled to breathe sometimes, it was very intense. The toilets were very dirty and the fungus was everywhere, literally! Not all the toilets were working. There was missing soap or toilet paper. Had some issue with the WiFi sometimes. It’s not a bad place for short term stay.
