Doruk Palas Hotel

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The hotel itself was wonderful—clean, comfortable, and in a great location. What really made my experience special, though, was the incredible staff. Mohammed, Bilal, and Naz were some of the kindest and friendliest people I’ve met. They were always welcoming, incredibly helpful, and went above and beyond whenever I needed anything. Their kindness and genuine hospitality made my stay so enjoyable. I’ll definitely be coming back, and a big reason for that is because of them. Thank you all for making my trip such a memorable one!

The location is close to many highlights and features like the Galata Tower and the metro station. The views are stunning - especially at night. The staff is incredibly helpful and can give tips for where to find anything you might think of (like suits or other gifts).

The hotel is brand new, spotlessly clean, and very well maintained. I had a great view from my room, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, and the room came with clean towels, as well as complimentary tea and coffee. On top of that, the staff were incredibly friendly and never tried to upsell me anything, which I really appreciated. Their hospitality felt genuine and welcoming. The breakfast was definitely worth it. There was an excellent selection of fresh fruit and vegetables, delicious coffee, pastries, and a wonderful variety of traditional Turkish breakfast items. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Istanbul and would gladly come back again! The hospitality was exceptional — the staff made us feel welcome from the very first day and were always friendly, helpful, and attentive. One of the highlights of our stay was the delicious breakfast. Every morning we enjoyed a great selection of traditional Turkish dishes, all fresh and very tasty. It was the perfect way to start the day. We also have to mention the hotel’s adorable cat, who greeted us every day and became a special part of our experience. He was so friendly that he even spent a couple of nights sleeping in our room, which made our stay even more memorable! The location is excellent. The metro station is just a short walk away, and major attractions such as Galata Tower and Istiklal Street are very close by. It made exploring Istanbul incredibly convenient. Thank you for making our trip so enjoyable. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul!

The staff was like having our own concierges. It was as if their mission was to serve us personally. The neighbood was quaint and safe. Many amazing restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. I didn't like dealing with Booking.com. Could only get AI Customer service. No answers unless they were from one of the questions Booking.com had generated.

Fabulous view of Golden Horn, the Suleymaniye Mosque on other side of the water, and the bridge that the M2 metro goes over. (This was from a Sea View room.) Loved also the airy open glass-walled entrance lobby: simple but very effective and comfortable. Terrifically friendly team, very courteous & hospitable. Delicious breakfast (excellent citrus, hummus, hot items, and lots of different things to try). Hotel has 21 rooms, making it a perfect size. Great location. Especially liked that it's situated in a real neighborhood (of mostly small stores selling lamps and electrical goods), rather than a noisy, touristy zone, yet still very close to sites & restaurants. Easy 5-7 minute walk from Sishane metro station, which is on the M2. Small safe, does not fit a laptop, though would fit an iPad. Loved my room, which suited perfectly, but in a few spots (baseboards, paint) it could probably do with a little TLC, nothing major. For anyone traveling with a lot of luggage (I wasn't), this particular room would be a tight fit.

Fabulous location and warm, friendly staff made it feel like home. And the complimentary breakfast was extraordinary, especially for a smaller hotel.

Fabulous staff at the front Desk especially Bilal and Muhammad. They felt like friends to us. The facilities are very nice and comfortable. Breakfast A+. They arranged our Airport transfer and answered all my messages concerning logistics. Walking distance to great shops and restaurants. Easy walk to the tram to go to the Blue Mosque and Grand Bazaar, and of course, anywhere else.

What I liked especially was the location, super comfortable bed, the breakfast, and wonderful helpful engaging staff. Only negative is that have to depart.

Great location - accessible to trains, main attractions, restaurants & nightlife. Staff was amazing and super responsive. They helped me set up a lovely surprise for my husband and were a text away for any of our needs. Also gave great recommendations. Breakfast was great and rooms were clean. We had a lovely view!
