Breakfast is good, enough time, enough varieties The room is good for the value.

The location was great. Very close to everything Our room Was extremely hot and the AC is setup in one room and runs for 3 hrs only. So at night you would have to get up every 3 hrs to turn it back on. Very uncomfortable for summer vacation. I do not recommend anyone visiting there.

The location was great...close to Hagia Sophia and Sultanahmet Mosque and not far from the Grand Bazaar, although the hotel was located on a rather grubby narrow alley-like street. The staff were wonderful. The rooms were probably a little more spacious than the rooms we had in some other places on our trip. When we asked about local transit, one staff member gave us a transit card which still had some money left on it. They had free tourist maps of Istanbul at the desk. The buffet breakfast had a lot of choice and was pretty good, especially if you were Turkish (hummus for breakfast). The front desk arranged a taxi for us to the airport and it was fairly priced. We paid the hotel and so we didn't have to directly pay the driver when we got to the airport and we knew for sure what cost would be ahead of time. We were taken advantage of earlier when we took a taxi on arrival at the airport. The walls of the bedroom could have been cleaner. Paint was peeling on the furniture and the baseboards. The call from the muezzin at about 5:00 a.m. woke up my wife each morning but I guess that's all part of visiting an Islamic country and experiencing the local culture. I was fine with it. I suspect the scrambled eggs at breakfast were from powdered egg but I can't be sure. The sliced meat was processed meat.

Location was perfect! Right in the heart of Old Town, walking distance to many of the must-see sights, the metro and the Grand Bazaar. Loads of places to eat and shop and visit close by.

Location is everything. Hotel is located exceedingly well for walking to all the areas of Old Town and also very easy to grab public transport for areas farther out. The elevators are seriously in need of updating - one was broken off and on and the other was SUPER slow. Breakfast was abundant and the woman running it was wonderful, however it was a challenge for some of my non-Turkish family members to find things they liked. I understand this is a THEM issue and not a problem with the hotel which provided an extensive buffet, but I do think it's helpful for others to be prepared.

Very clean rooms, elevator was fully functional, breakfasts was good in the mornings, staff was generally nice, very very close to the sultanahmet tram stop, and other great restaurants in the area. So the property is in a narrow street in a very touristic area so taxi will most likely make you walk about 300/400 feet to the hotel. We stayed in the connected room with the two small beds in one. The big bed room was great, the smaller room with the two beds is very very small. And there’s not a lot of room to put your luggage or event a stool to put it. So my luggage was always on the floor near the window. The refrigerator was broken in my room. No guests were allowed at the hotel for friends that were picking me up I was told they could only be in the room 5 minutes, kind of odd if we’ve paid and provided all our identifications. Also after a certain hour maybe like 0200/0300 the front door is locked so you have to knock to be let in.

First of all, the reception staff and the kitchen team were a total 5 star. And i mean each and everyone. They cater to everything you need. The location is magnificent since it is in walking distance to the main attractions like Topkapi, Hagia Sofia, Blue mosque etc. Also the tram stop is pretty close. The room service so bad. Everyday i had to go fetch water, tea and sugar from the downside bar since she never refilled the water. During my stay, twice, room service did not clean my room and renewed my towels (but the reception guy did the needful about the replenishment) Secondly, the linen on the bed was never changed! I stayed there for 10 days, and on my arrival, there was a little black mark on the linen. It stayed like that until i left. 10 days and literally no linen change. I wonder what happened to hygiene. Thirdly, i booked two exact same room. But one room was drastically smaller than the other one. There is a drastic need for maintenance in the rooms. The doors are fluffed up, probably from water damage. Black mold on the silicones in the bathroom, some handles are missing screws and might break if you use a little force. Even the towel hanger came out while i was pulling the towel from it. Breakfast is good but a bit repetitive and you don’t know what you are eating since the dishes are not labelled

Descent breakfast, some of the staff were nice. Lower value than what was expected. Electricity was unreliable, it got cut off multiple nights, and it was hot and not being able to use the AC at night made things worse. The staff at the front desk were unwilling to provide any kind of compensation for the inconveniences. The hotel room had inadequate lighting and was too dark.

Booking a tour is much cheaper outside, at hotel 10-15% expensive. Room had no view, some construction work going on adjacent to the hotel due to which noisy at day time.

Spacious clean rooms, helpful and friendly staff who were always accommodating, variety to choose from for breakfast, had a room with a balcony No complaints
