This hotel provided a perfect stay! The hotel location was very close to major tourist attractions with easy access to public transportation. Breakfast was delicious and the entire staff was very nice!

Near to the historical centre. Staff is very friendly and polite, also there is cleaning every day. Breakfast mostly the same every day but it has variety of dishes and it’s good. Central heating. Furniture and interior are not so new, but overall price to quality ratio is great for us.

Good location near to Sultanahmet. Construction next to the building.

The rooftop was great, breakfast was varied and good. Small clean room and nice staff. Location right behind the Blue Mosque in a quiet area of Sultanahmet near main tourist attractions. Nothing to mention.

Really nice location, near every attraction and calm street. Never felt unsafe. Good breakfast with a view in the rooftop. Difficult to communicate with some of the staff because they didn’t speak English. The bathroom smelled a bit bad, which was uncomfortable because the smell spread through the room. Rooms really small, it was even hard to have the bags in the room.

Breakfast with Bosphorus view. The location is near the blue mosque. The call for prayer is clear. We could use the kitchen to heat some local food we brought from home. The breakfast was not as good as it was when I stayed in 2017. There were not many options. The air conditioner heater needed filter cleaning. Luckily it was spring, so we used it less.

Great location for such a small price! The staff is really friendly, the breakfast was good and we also loved the view from the terrace We have some issues with noise coming from the reception at night, but everything was solved

This is my former favorite place to stay in Istanbul. Sadly, most of what I liked about it has gone downhill. On the positive side, it is one of the more affordable places in Sultanahmet and fantastically close to the Hippodrome and Hagia Sofia. The breakfast terrace is a sublime little spot, and they still offer breakfast with the room. The desk is staffed 24/7, and it is a safe place. The lady who makes breakfast doesn't have the cooking skill of her predecessors, nor the food budget they used to seem to supply, but she is a very kind and welcoming person. This used to be the attitude of the whole place, but now the upstairs terrace is the only place we witnessed the Turkish hospitality for which Istanbul is renowned. All the other staff, who seem to be underpaid employees from overseas, are a far cry from the old family atmosphere that attracted me there years ago. Alas, the breakfast and the welcome as well as the overall cleanliness and quality of amenities have all declined noticeably in the past two years. It's now just passable in all categories and more 2-star than 3. I have started shopping for alternatives as I travel to Istanbul at least once a year. Staff are no longer family members, it seems, but overseas employees who don't show the kind of warmth we saw when first staying here a few years ago and again about 2 years ago. The midnight crew was helpful, but the daytime front desk steward, a young woman employee, instead of welcoming us, curtly asked me about paying my bill midway through my stay as I was walking through the lobby. I was confused as I had provided this information in Booking and said, please process the card in the reservation. She then copied it off a piece of paper where she had printed out my credit card information! How is this even possible. She was never very friendly, which was quite surprising as I have stayed there several times and had written as much in my reservation request. The owner's father, only family member onsite, lurked around the lobby in daylight hours but also didn't particularly greet or chat with us, a big contrast with former visits. We are friendly people and well-behaved and not used to chilly treatment. The room was tiny and musty and we had to keep the window cracked as the bathroom fan doesn't work and the whole room quicky gets moist, moldy-smelling and muggy after a shower. The bed filled the room and there was only one power outlet, so one of us had to plug in their phone in the bathroom (where it kept falling in the sink as there is no real shelf in the bathroom). The furniture is the cheapest possible iKea-level wardrobe. The mattress and sheets and towels were okay, but nothing is three-star level. I travel two- and three-star level a lot, and this is definitely two-star. The breakfast is a big step down from just two years ago. Our first day, on a weekend, we got upstairs 30 minutes before the end of breakfast but most trays were empty and not refilled. We were left with two slices of cheese, a few slices of tomato, and a big bowl of pasta of some kind that they made every day and no one ever touched and 3 crusts of bread.

The rooms were a small but rest everything was amazing.

No elevator. Lots of stairs, but I knew it when made reservation

Great location, short walk from Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, etc. Great great great breakfast with the best view ever. Bathroom very small, which is understandable for an old building, but the drainage system is no good. And there was no shower, so you will have to shower in the same space where the toilet and vanity is. For that reason the bathroom furniture is visibly damaged by water.

A very simple, yet very cozy place to stay with stunning views from the roof top breakfast terrace and close to reach main sightseeing points. Breakfast was very delicious, bathrooms were clean, neighborhood safe.

Very nice hotel for this price. Especially I loved the view from the terrace - having a breakfast there is one of the most fascinating moments of my job trip. Staff is very kind. Breakfast is very simple, but once again - for this price it's absolutely normal. Very good hotel. I hope they will grow better. By the way - the location is great! Absolutely in the center of all historical places, but not on the loud street. Thank you guys!

The location was nice, many attractions nearby and restaurants. The view from top was nice. I was given a room on the third floor with very narrow stairs. The stairs were so narrow that I twisted my foot taking my luggage up. The staff person did not offer any help. The door of the bedroom was so close to the stairs that I almost fell while getting out my suitcase, I decided to check out after four hours and went to another hotel The staff had a communication issue. No help or change of room was offered.
