Breakfast in the rooftop beautiful views

LOVED this place! Omer is awesome!!! The only downside was a few power outages with no AC, but that could be anywhere in such an old city I think? LOVED the rooftop breakfast!! the room as so clean and modern, and Omer made our getting around so easy!! a few power outages but not sure these were building specific

The breakfast was plentiful with the lovely additions of freshly cut watermelon, fresh honey from a honeycomb and delicious local cheeses. The 360 view from the breakfast terrace was spectacular - an unbroken view of the Blue Mosque on one side and the sparkling Bosphorus on the other. The family room was very comfortable and had everything you would need including a small fridge, wardrobe space and comfortable beds. The staff were warm and welcoming and the location was fantastic - on a quiet cobbled street but a few minutes walk from all the action around Sultanahmet. We had some fun trying to destinguish between the shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower, since they had all been refilled into the incorrect bottles. The decor in general was a little tired but this added to the charm. It was lovely to have big windows overlooking the river in our family room, which we loved to open to have fresh air, however, they opened fully (no safety catch) and there was a sheer drop outside - had my children been younger, I would have been a bit nervous about the windows.

The location of the hotel is perfect for first timers in Istanbul. Breakfast was quite decent. and the view from lounge is quite pleasing as one can see the sea of Marmara on one side while on the other side, Blue mosque and Hagia sophia. The staff at the reception is very helpful, Nuri and others at the reception provided guidance and advise in moving around Do i want to go there again ? no, because if i go to Istanbul, i would like to stay on Asian side to avoid the too much tourists and the cost associated (for everything) with touristy place. Of course being on Asian side will come with a little more hassle , but transport in Istanbul is quite good. And one can easily move around on public transports. The hotel does not provide water for drinking. So, one has to make sure that you have enough water before you go to bed. Room lighting was ok. The balcony was quite dusty and there was no view from the balcony as the room was on -1 floor. outdoor patio swing needs replacement as well.

The location and the staff

The entrance of the hotel was near a dumpster and the cats keep pooping on front of the main door and people in the hotel kept stepping on them the smell inside was terribleeee, plus it was really really hot in the breakfast area they even didn’t open all the windows. The worst part was that the rooms we stayed in and the main building that the breakfast was served were two separate places and had alot of stairs

I had an unexpected family emergency upon arriving and had to take a loved one to the hospital. During this stressful time, the hotel manager was exceptionally kind and helpful. He personally called to check on us and make sure everything was okay. My wife had to check in by herself while I was away, and he took the time to help her feel comfortable, showing her where to eat and where she could exchange money. When he saw me the following day, he made a point of speaking with me and checking on our situation. His professionalism, compassion, and genuine concern went far beyond what anyone would normally expect. He is a true gentleman and an excellent example of hospitality. We are very grateful for his kindness and would highly recommend this hotel. NA

Great location and services Nothing to dislike

The staff was mostly amazing. The view was mind blowing. The breakfast and the breakfast staff was perfect! The beds were comfortable, the room was good sized. Cleaning crew was wonderful. I loved this place!! OH, Wait! The view here will change your life. Then it gets better, you can go up on the roof and it does get better. Oh, and they allow you to come use the dining room (with the amazing view) 24/7 to work on your computer or relax and take in the city or have a smoke. You cannot get this in the USA. Some gym equipment was ancient. One of the managers insisted that while working out at the gym, I was not to use the restrooms that were 15 meters away because that was "For the staff" even though during my 11 days and 15 workouts, not once did I ever see a person use those restrooms! He literally told me that I should take the elivator up 4 floors and use the restroom by the dining room each time I needed to go!! But that being said, every other interaction with every single staff member (even him) was perfect. They are all great people. And one of the asistant managers is the best I have ever met in my life! Same for the man running the breakfast. Never seen a better job being done in that position.

The staff was exceptional, they had great recommendations for us and helped make our first visit to Istanbul memorable. Hotel room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent as well.

Great location, walking distance to the Old City attractions and tram station. The room is small, but that’s typical for the Old City area, and it was very clean. Breakfast on the rooftop had a beautiful view and tasted good too. The front desk staff were very friendly and provided lots of helpful travel information.

Super location ? walkable Comfortable. Staff was very helpful ? The cleaners... because we were there waiting for the elevator, started coughing and making exclamations that implied that the room had a smell. But this was (I thought, from their after reaction) because we had not left them a tip the first few days when they cleaned our room and the last day. The moment they saw the tip, they calmed down. However, we felt very offended because the room was actually clean after we came from outside (we were there for breakfast) and we just came back to get our things and the room had no smell.

The noise at night was a little louder than I thought it would be but I would still stay here again.

Service was kind and prompt.Hotel is well located in highly walkable area.

Breakfast was good and all people working in the hotel were so nice and friendly. Always ready to help. A special thanks also to SELCUK for breakfast. He knew in advance what we wish yo drink and bring us at the table. Everything was good. Thank youuu
