We had an absolutely wonderful 8-night stay! The staff here are incredible, special thanks to Melek, Guli, Umer and Yusuf. They treat you like family and were so amazing with our kids, even taking them out to entertain them so we could enjoy our meals in peace. We truly became friends during our stay. They even gave us great insider advice on how to visit the authentic local bazars rather than just the usual tourist spots. On top of the unmatched hospitality, the included breakfast was delicious. Plus, whenever we came by the restaurant throughout the day, they generously provided free bottled water and tea. They also offered us delicious, fresh-squeezed juice at a discounted price, which was incredibly refreshing. The location is also perfect, just a 2-minute walk to the train stop and 4 minutes to the beautiful seaside. None

The people who work there are super helpful and the location is very good. Nice Turkish breakfast with different dishes. Around it they are paid private parkings. I want to be a little bit more clear. They have to remove the "parking" benefit from the description, because is not part of the hotel and also you have to pay about that.

Rooms are not soun bb creamdproof. You can hear EVERYTHING. From the other room, and especially from outside. I could not sleep well and our baby as well. No elevator. It's like a bed and breakfast type accommodation.

Nothing Location ( you have to ask the nearby hotel to arrive- -Room was very small , other than the bed and the minibar nothing inside there was a small wardrobe it located behind a small wall and useless ,no sitting area and no even small chair , no windows in this room , . Although written as soundproof but the actual you can hair what people in the next room saying even the shower sound and siphon are clearly audible, the room where i stay is like a prison You can imagine that you can touch the selling ( although i am 175 cm) , who i talk with them 2nd day they told me you book budget room, next day I checked out although one day remaining of my reservation

Very good breakfast, good connection to public transport. Very friendly staff. No internet during stay, quite noisy neighborhood.

Golden Sail Hotel in the Old City is a charming place to stay. The location is excellent, within walking distance of many historic landmarks, and the atmosphere feels both authentic and welcoming. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff are attentive and very helpful, always ready to assist with recommendations or any requests. One thing to note is that the property does not have an elevator, and the stairs are quite steep. While this wasn’t a major issue for me, it could be challenging for guests with mobility concerns or those carrying heavy luggage. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience and would gladly recommend the hotel to travelers who don’t mind a bit of climbing. I was really glad with my choice as this little hotel is a good value for money. They are very conveniently located to get by public transportation to from both the Sabiha and Istanbul airports. Very close to the station - just a 2 min walk. Their breakfast is really hearty and filling. The rooms are clean and quiet.

The good was amazing and the stuff was really helpful and kind Nothing I can complain about .

Wow, what an amazing place to stay. The rooms were clean, breakfast and dinner amazing and filling and the staff were wonderful. Bugra and Volkan were especially kind and courteous. Volkan is such an amazing human who really made my family and I very welcome and at home. The location is equally superb. Being just 15 mins walk from the main Sultanahmet park with all the main attractions. Definitely would stay here again. Çok tesukkerler! You can hear a lot of sound through the walls at night but this is because of the age of the building and, being in the Old City, building work is heavily regulated and there are stringent conditions so remember to bring ear plugs if you are sensitive to noise.

Our stay was nice and the breakfast served every day had something different! It needs some minor changes.

Lovely family-run B&B style hotel managed by a very kind, caring and hospitable group of folks. Excellent location within walking distance to major things such as: Grand Bazaar (~10 mins) , Blue Mosque/Hagia Sofia (~20 mins). Rooms were a good size, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very fresh, healthy, delicious and authentic to the region! Management were extremely caring and helpful in all aspects, and very knowledgeable, with access to all kinds of touristic options. Thank you Volkan and Bugra, and the rest of the lovely folks! Room could be a bit loud at night due to proximity to a square of restaurants and cafes, however this is not a fault of owners/management, and is simply a natural sacrifice of the proximity to Grand Bazaar/Blue Mosque/Hagia Sofia/Topkapi Palace.

Excellent hotel in its class. Very friendly owners. Tasty breakfast. Clean and comfortable rooms ,fitted with all necessary equipment. Hotel located just in 20 minutes walking to the Blue Mosque. We are planning to return!

This is a lovely small family run hotel. The people are extremely nice and hospitable and will help you out with everything you need. We flew in to Istanbul very late and they arranged a transfer from the airport for us without any problems. The breakfast is tasty (and more than you could possibly eat) and we enjoyed their freshly pressed fruit juices every day. The location is nice, in a lively neighbourhood, and we were able to reach all the major attractions in the old city on foot or use the nearby Kumkapi station when we needed to use public transport. The accomodation fulfilled our expectations.

Great hotel at a very nice location. The staff was super helpful. They helped us carry our bags to the tram station when we checked out and also helped us in getting the transport card and guided us to the airport. It was the best hospitality I have ever experienced in any hotel. Also the breakfast was great. N/A

It was the first time I travelled with a large group of people (7 in total), and the hotel staff did everything to meet our needs! They upgraded our rooms for free, so that we can all stay on one floor, they were so kind to arrange a dinner for us at night upon late arrival. The hotel was very clean, and the rooms were quite spacious. We travelled in February, the heating and hot water worked perfectly fine. We preordered breakfasts and dinners, which took away the hassle of finding a good restaurant. The meals was delicious, and there was a great variety of food (beware of the portions though - they are huge! ?) The staff were simply exceptional! Thank you for the stay!
