Grand Galata Hotel & Spa - Special Class

The staff especially Sabri was really helpful and made our stay extremely comfortable I think the images of the pool and the fitness center as well as rhe sea view are misrepresenting. The fitness center has 2 treadmills and a bench. The pool is more like a jacuzzi. Nevertheless, the terrace and the staff of the hotel are phenomenal.

The best hotel in the best part of Istanbul!! Had an absolutely amazing time. The best view from a hotel room I’ve ever seen. Very clean, very safe area and very walkable. Very helpful front desk staff. Shout out to Elif and Sabri for their amazing assistance. I wish I could have stayed longer

Am ajuns destul de tarziu la hotel. Ne-am dus la restaurant la ora 10:50 PM, desi bucataria se inchidea la 11 PM, dar ne-au primit foarte bine si au aranjat o masa special pentru noi. Mancarea de la restaurant a fost excelenta (cea mai buna pe care am mancat-o in Istanbul), la fel si privelistea.

Great service

Overall, our stay at the hotel was very enjoyable. Its location was one of its biggest strengths, as it is centrally situated and close to everything, making it extremely convenient for exploring the city. The friendliness and professionalism of the staff were outstanding. They were always welcoming, attentive, and willing to assist with any request, which made our stay even more pleasant. The breakfast was good, although we felt it was somewhat overpriced considering the variety of options available. The view from our room was spectacular and definitely one of the highlights of our stay. However, the large panoramic glass windows caused the room to become quite warm during the day, despite the beautiful scenery they offered. The internet connection was not consistently reliable, as it occasionally became slow during our stay. Additionally, while the room was generally clean, the housekeeping could be improved, with more attention to detail to ensure a higher standard of cleanliness.

Absolutely nothing. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it.

An outstanding stay from start to finish. The location couldn't be better—right in the heart of Istanbul with everything within easy walking distance. The staff were genuinely warm and welcoming, and it was obvious they enjoyed working together as a team. The breakfast was exceptional, with a huge, high-quality selection at a very reasonable price. The spa and gym exceeded expectations, especially the beautiful indoor pool, sauna, hammam and relaxation area, all with premium fixtures and excellent accessibility. The rooms were spacious, beautifully appointed, incredibly comfortable and felt genuinely luxurious. I would happily stay here again.

We were so happy with the hotel, the staff was absolutely lovely and so helpful. Location was perfect. Breakfast was very good. Maybe just needed to book a bigger room for the amount of time we stayed.

Rooms were larger than average with plenty of storage. Good sized balcony with a view of Galata Tower. Great rooftop restaurant with a panoramic view of the city and very good food. Great staff, particular thanks to Hilal, Sabri, Ozge, and Ozkan, as well as the front door staff. Our room was right next to the elevator lobby and had a lot of noise from the hallway.

Sabri and Emre were incredibly helpful and welcoming. I can’t compliment them enough

I really enjoyed the breakfast and the spa area, I have bad allergies so the steam room actually helped me so much more than I thought it would. The staff was extremely accommodating and kind, and everything was seamless. The hotel feels very safe and the air conditioning made my stay very enjoyable, especially with the heat wave that was going on during my stay. Overall 10/10 experience.

Location, cleanliness and customer service was great! The bathroom shower floor was flat with no way of containing and draining the water so each time we used the shower the water would flood the bathroom floor.

The hotel is pretty much brand new and you can definitely feel it! Everything from the fittings to the design and the clean and new appearance really made for a luxurious stay. Their top floor restaurant is one of the best views in the city at sunset and the food was delicious too. Would happily stay here again if I return to Istanbul one day. The staff were also friendly and helpful, A+++

What truly made our experience special was the outstanding hospitality of Özge, Hilal, and Efe. They went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our stay was enjoyable. Their kindness, professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care made us feel at home. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they were always ready to help with a warm smile. The level of service provided by these three wonderful people is a true credit to the hotel. They turned a great stay into an unforgettable one and made our visit to Istanbul even more special. We highly recommend Grand Galata Hotel & Spa to anyone visiting Istanbul and would gladly stay here again.

Wonderful stay with very helpful staff

We had a great stay at this hotel. The rooms were comfortable, the location was convenient, and the atmosphere was welcoming. A special thank you to Sabri-Hilal and Őmer, who were extremely helpful, friendly, and professional throughout our stay. They made us feel welcome and were always ready to assist with anything we needed. Their excellent service made our experience even better. Highly recommended!
