We stayed at this hotel from may 23rd to may 27th 2026 when visiting Istanbul. The room was clean and the front desk staff was very friendly. The location was very convenient for us and requires only a short walk to the M2 subway, the T1 tramway, the Karakoy restaurant area and the Galata tower. We would most definitely go back to this same hotel if ever returning to Istanbul in the future. Julie & Sylvain ?? Everything was good!

Exceptional service and attention to detail. Salim at reception was one of the most welcoming and attentive hosts we’ve ever encountered. Meira, the cleaner was also very attentive. Very central location, ideal for a weekend. Room isolation could be better but overall very II est value for money.

The property was great!! Definitely would stay here again. I don’t have any complaints. The staff was so helpful & very kind. Upgraded our room free of charge. The breakfast was good. The location was great also. Just a little walk and you’re close to majority of everything!

This property is ideally situated for those who wish to explore the heart of Istanbul. The taxis booked through booking.com took us right to the property to and from the airport with no issues whatsoever. The entrance to the property is not on a busy street and as such does not incur a lot of foot traffic, making it more private and yet accessible from both the main area towards the Galata bridge and also to the Galata tower with its restaurants and shopping areas. The Restaurant at the top of the hotel is very nice and has great views out towards the Galata bridge area and Galata tower. There is a bar included in the restaurant area which serves drinks in the evening. Included near the bar is some small steps which leads to the roof from where I took some pictures of Istanbul and the Galata tower. These pictures are below. In conclusion a clean hotel with superb access to all you need for a visit to Istanbul. There was nothing to dislike.

Great attention to detail and a very welcoming staff. The hotel is cozy and full of warm character, set in a historic building that has been thoughtfully repurposed while preserving its original charm. Its location is excellent, and the overall experience was truly amazing.

One of the best hotels I stayed in Istanbul so far. It is situated very close to Galata tower in a lovely street. Location is top. Personnel was very friendly and caring. Special thanks to Zeynep. Hotel has a rooftop restaurant where an excellent breakfast is served. The same place turns into a beautiful bar at night with an amazing view into Galata Tower. The rooms are big (we stayed in a deluxe room, upgrade by hotel) and clean. nothing

The receptions staff were polite and helpful. The cleanliness of the room and the whole place. The manager and her concerns about our needs. The view of the rooftop to Galata tower when having breakfast was nice. The location. Very steep streets around it. No special view for the rooms. The noise from the ceiling (upstairs) disturbed our sleep. Not having an exceptional breakfast (no buffet and no diversity for the eating items). Saw hair in the our food. The breakfast and bar staff don’t speak english.

I had such a lovely stay at Walton Hotel. On the morning of my checkout, they surprised me with a complimentary breakfast — it was not only delicious but also made my day start with a smile. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, and when there was a small issue with our pre-booked airport ride, the reception staff helped us with genuine care, as if it were their own matter. I didn’t even have a chance to ask for his name at that busy moment, so I wanted to write this review to express my heartfelt thanks. Their kindness and hospitality truly made my stay memorable. I’d love to come back again someday.

Location was great very close to Galata tower/reastaurants/Metro station, Breakfast was good they take special order no charge, Great room very comfortable really enjoyed the stay also very important owner of the hotel is very nice and the front desk staff mainly Cihan was awsome. Elevator was bit slow other then that everything was great also taxi need to stop 100 feet away from the hotel due to narrow street but it was okay for me may inconvenience to people with disabilities.

Owner and manager are on top of things and will help solve any issue. Getting a taxi right to the door can be hard because of small street that is sometimes blocked (Only an issue for seriously reduced mobility.)
