The staff was very professional and consistent throughout my stay. The location is excellent and very convenient. The environment was calm and not noisy at all, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel.

As it was raining and cold on days, the central heating was a godsend and and the AC unit actually blew hot air. The reception staff were good. Always water/tea and coffee in reception. The uphill location, especially as bollards block access by taxi when raised. I didn’t like the toilet/gutter smell in room (we were told because of rain). I didn’t wake up at all for breakfast as it wasn’t to my liking. The fuse kept tripping when I used the iron.

Adem and Ahmet were absolutely wonderful and made our stay so much better!

The staff were always friendly and offered free water, coffee, and tea. The best moment was when one of them came out with umbrellas as we viewed the rainy night from the doorstep. The location was convenient—an easy walk to both the transit station and the main sites, yet outside the chaos of most tourist hotels. It was very clean and they tidied our room each day. The breakfast was bountiful and made each day’s start easier. Would have appreciated a softer pillow, but this is a small thing and we never requested it.

We stayed for 6 nights and found the hotel to offer good value for money. It’s close to public transport and within walking distance of attractions like the Hagia Sophia and Grand Bazaar. Check-in was efficient, staff were courteous, and complimentary water and snacks were provided in the lobby. Airport transfers were offered, though we didn’t use them. The room was spacious with a well-equipped bathroom (shampoo, ear buds, slippers, etc.). Housekeeping was available daily. The bed was comfortable, air conditioning effective and quiet, and Wi-Fi stable at ~80 Mbps. The room’s size made the 40-inch TV seem small from the bed. Breakfast offered a standard selection of hot dishes and Mediterranean options like cheese and olives. As noted in other reviews, soundproofing is average, with occasional hallway noise. We suggest bringing earplugs or asking the hotel for them.

Good location, very good staff, breakfast was really nice and clean.

The hotel is very nicely decorated, it feels modern. The staff is super nice especially the manager. Theh were very helpful. The rooms are big and super confortable and the breakfast is good enough. The location is perfect, close enough to everything but you dont have to deal with so many people in the street in front. Nothing really

Liked the location, the rooms were clean and well appointed, beds were comfortable. I was placed in the basement room which was next to the kitchen and breakfast room. This meant there was a lot of noise from before 7am as the staff prepared for breakfast service and then other guests arrived. I asked to move after the first night but was told no other rooms were available.

Great room, very close to so many amazing sites. If you get a chance pop around the cr to the Balkan Restaurant on a cold day.

Green Parrot is an amazing hotel in the center of the historical center of Istanbul. You would only need 5-7 minutes to Hagia Sofia, imagine that. It is a cute place, well equipped, very clean and with the most amazing stuff! We are so grateful for having chosen this hotel for our stay in Istanbul!! Very special Thanks to Furkan and Omer for the great attendance and support in everything!!

Free coffee, tea and water. Nice Staff, good connection to WiFi, location is good if you want to visit Sultanahmet, easy to get to Karaköy and Kadıköy It was really noisy, the bed wasn't that comfortable and the breakfast was ok.

Avoid This Hotel – Very Disappointing Stay My stay at Green Parrot Hotel in Istanbul was far from pleasant. The room was small and lacked essential amenities like a mini-fridge and a proper mirror. Cleanliness was also a major issue—both the bed and bathroom were not clean, making the stay uncomfortable. The bathroom design was particularly strange, with an awkwardly high toilet seat, which seemed like a construction mistake. It made using the bathroom very uncomfortable. Another huge frustration was the internet connection, which was almost nonexistent most of the time. Despite being told there was nearby parking, it turned out to be misleading information, as no proper parking was available. Breakfast was very limited, and the staff in the dining area was unfriendly, making the experience even worse. Speaking of staff, the hotel’s customer service was generally cold and unwelcoming, except for rare moments of decent interaction. To make matters worse, there is a school right next to the hotel, causing constant noise and shouting from children throughout the day, making it impossible to rest. Overall, I would strongly advise against staying here. It was a frustrating experience, and there are definitely better options in Istanbul.

Very good

Clean, modern, nice design On breakfast there was almost nothing to eat, no hot dishes, only dry cookies, bread and cereals. Also experienced problems with hot water in the room. As for location, generally it was good but the building itself located in a sort of dodgy alley next to abandoned building with broken windows. The room view was on the house construction.

Location is perfect. Guys who works at the reception were very friendly and professional.

Very central location, yet very quiet and private. It is next to a primary school but noise is limited to mornings. Within walking distance to most Istanbul attractions. Many restaurants, cafes and shops nearby. Close to tramway and metro. Comfortable rooms, very friendly staff. Good breakfasts.
