Laos Otel

This is a really great value in Istanbul it's in a nice neighborhood, with tons of shops and restaurants around, everything you need - but not too touristy! Still close to all the main sights of the old city but it feels like a more real working neighborhood. The staff was really friendly thank you to Karan the front desk staff for being such a nice host! This place is a great value the room may be a little small/ cozy for 2 people but i the bed is a good size.

I give this hotel 10 points because of the indian receptionist who welcome guest in best way and if you have any problem he always help and best thing is he always has smile on his face

I liked the pictures presented in the listing by booking. Unfortunately they did not match the room I was given. , When I checked in, I was taken around the corner to a different building, not pictured in the description and given a room that opened directly to the street. The room was not as pictured. I did not feel safe in this room. I told the hotel reception, that I did not feel safe in this room and this person was very rude. He didn’t speak english so we used google translate and he said “this is the room you reserved” I explained that the location was not correct and the pictures were not correct and requested the proper room. He refused. I called booking customer service and explained the situation, but they were unable to help me because they could not reach the property. I watched while I was on hold with customer service, the person at reception decline calls, and go out and smoke a cigarette. At this point I booked a different hotel with booking. The person at reception said that if I contacted booking that he would authorize a refund. The next day booking told me that reception had declined the refund. I have been in contact with booking since this time and have yet to receive a refund. They say they are just a booking agent and the owner of the hotel will have to authorize a refund. Overall, booking.com is supporting an owner who is advertising a room that is not the one they will receive and is around the corner from the actual address listed on Booking.com. Please STAY AWAY from this property. I am out the cost of four nights stay. The picture below is the actual building I was take to.

Room size, facilities in the room, cupboard, cattle, and the toilet even it was small but it had everything you need. The hotel was close to many fare restaurants and very close to transportation and the 5mins walk to enjoy your time watching the ships in the sea. The speed of the internet was pretty good. There is no tea, coffee, but only the cattle in the room. Also there was no any plate of fruit as I saw in the photos before I go there.

The location, the staff is very friendly and helpful. It's clean and well equipped. So far nothing.

It was a clean and peaceful night. The bathroom was clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly. I will come again.
