Location, cleanliness, breakfast all great Nothing

The breakfast was abundant and very delicious, and there was a very nice terrace upstairs for breakfast- we really enjoyed this. The hotel felt pretty clean and fancy for the price. The location was good because it was easy to walk around to the tourist spots of Istanbul, and to get down to the water, which was nice. We were very happy with our stay here. This really has nothing to do with the hotel, but EVERYTHING for tourists in Istanbul is extremely expensive. If we had gone to the 5 or 6 main tourist draws in Istanbul (they're obvious and well-advertised- mosques, museums, palaces, etc.) we'd have spent about $800. in two days for the two of us, on activities alone- not joking. As it was, we did the dinner tour of the Bosphorus that the hotel booked for us (can't remember the price), and it was more of a loud party barge night club type thing, with really bad food. We went to the cistern for $120. (takes about 30 minutes to walk through, but it was cool) and a dinner and dervish show which pretty good (maybe $120. for two of us.) Anyway we had to pick and choose our activities, and ended up feeling like we were being herded through the different attractions. Just be informed! Not a great place for adventurous travelers- more like hordes of tour group on buses.

A very well-located hotel, just a few blocks from some of Istanbul’s most iconic mosques and Sultanahmet Square. The rooms have everything you need and are very comfortable, with a quiet atmosphere perfect for resting. The host is incredibly welcoming, and the rooftop terrace offers stunning views — ideal for breakfast or simply enjoying a drink at any time of day Personally, I would have appreciated more variety at breakfast — I tend to prefer egg-based options like omelettes over boiled eggs. That said, this is more a matter of personal taste than a real downside.

Everything was perfect.

We had a wonderful time at Ligos Hotel. The rooms were great and they have a very nice terrace on the rooftop with a sea view. The staff was incredibly helpful, and the location is excellent. Would definitely stay here again! -

Good location and breakfast AC was central and wasn't working since it was not summer yet. Fridge and hair drier were barely working. Walls were too thin that we could hear everything

The breakfast was fresh and flavorful, and having accessible parking on-site was a major convenience. It’s a well-managed hotel that offers a warm, comfortable experience. We would definitely stay here again.

Really enjoyed my stay. Very convenient location and superhelpful staff. Thanks a lot to Orjen bey. He was supporting me from the very moment of my check in. Lack of elevators. Breakfast could’ve been a little better.
-
One downside was that the room was quite cold, so we had to keep the air conditioner on most of the time to stay comfortable. Also, the hotel is located on a slope, which made it a bit tiring to walk uphill when going back from the city center.

I liked the location of the hotel. Overall it was clean and tidy. the young short hair guy in the reception was extremely helpful and welcoming! The cleaning staff and the breakfast staff were really nice! The neighborhood is safe and quiet There is no elevator, meaning it’s not friendly for wheelchairs or parents with strollers. And the breakfast was at the roof so each morning we were walking up the stairs for 5 floors. The breakfast was indifferent in taste and lacked variety in eggs and bread. We were placed in the semi-basement rooms where there was an unpleasant smell. The outlets near my bed were not working so I couldn’t charge my phone.

Close to the old city few minutes walk to Hagia Sofia Not for older people no elevator and the walk to it requires a lot of climbing

Was given one pillow, thou the staff gave another after complain The kitchen staff were not attentive using their inability of not be able to speak English as excuse No stairs, didn't really see that bit of information

The hosts were very warm, welcoming, and friendly; they advised and helped us with everything we needed. The location is perfect — right next to Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, the Blue Mosque, close to the bazaar and all means of transportation. Everything was spotlessly clean, the food was very good, and the view from the terrace was beautiful. I highly recommend it if you’re looking for excellent accommodation!

It’s very clean. Near to main areas to watch. Staff is very friendly. Helps you a lot for your trip and stay at Istanbul and helps you for the city transport as well.

A great location for Sultanahmet, easy walk to all major attractions. The restaurant, breakfast and the breakfast staff were very good. The property is very dated, and the rooms did not feel clean, whether it be the need for some repair work or simply more attention to cleaning I am not sure. The front desk staff were mediocre and not very helpful with directions or information, didn’t make you feel very welcome. For the same price we found a much better property in Galata, better comfort, quality and service.
