Newalla Hotel Old City

Close proximity to train, ferry and local sites I was a short and early check-in before leaving and found out after I got there that we had to wait till 12 PM. We got there at 6 AM.

The hotel is so good and location is the best. Staffs are so kind and helpful. Room was so clean without any bad smells. The breakfast also delicious.

Location was great and so was staff. Layout was awesome but some minor way to fix things were broken. Toilet seat was literally not attached and the sink faucet was barely attached. Other than that, it was a great experience.

Honestly, this hotel far exceeded our expectations, especially given its location in the middle of such a busy area. Before arriving, I thought it was going to be just another cramped hotel hidden inside the busy streets of Kumkapi. Instead, it feels completely carved out from the chaos. It offers a beautiful sea view, and the metro is just seconds away. I would give the location a 20 out of 10 if I could! The facilities are excellent, the amazing view is wonderful, and the staff is great and You can reach all the Istanbul attraction by walking (need some efforts) even by metro and taxi he only issue we had was that the AC is located right at the entrance. Ideally, they should have installed separate units in the individual rooms. On a positive note, breakfast starts at 8:00 AM, which worked well for us. Since we had to leave for the airport early, the host kindly provided us with packed sandwiches to go, which was a wonderful gesture!"

The staff were always there to help and address our problems, the breakfast was amazing too! The wifi was very poor so we had to spend extra on internet, the facilities were a little rundown but clean.

Everything was great overall. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was fresh and enjoyable. The atmosphere felt welcoming, and the service quality was excellent throughout our stay. Also, I highly recommend Nasip Et Kebap & Pide Salonu nearby. The prices are much better compared to many other places in the area, but the food quality and taste were honestly amazing. Definitely worth trying if you want delicious Turkish food without overpaying. The only downside was the WiFi. It was very slow and unstable, which honestly made us nervous at times when we needed internet access for important things. Unfortunately, the connection quality definitely needs improvement. Aside from the internet issue, we were very satisfied with the experience.

I had a room with beautiful 180 degree view on the sea. There was also a Jacuzzi, and at the evening it was very nice. The room was quiet. Wifi was good. I appreciated the small gift I received upon checkout. The facilities are not well maintained and cleaning could be improved. I saw bugs in the bathroom. The TV was very small and on a side, which made it very unpractical to be used. Breakfast was ok but definitely not impressive. Room cleaning was only "upon request". Very small lift. The area is central but not a nice one.

It’s a 5 stars hotel , with fantastic view on the sea and very closed to many areas and transportation, I love this place too much . And the food is super delicious and has so many varieties. The hotel is very clean, comfy and super helpful staff. Thank you for this amazing accommodation

Very friendly and helping staff, our room was spacious enough and well equipped. The personnel were very quick to meet all our requests from the first contact after our booking, something has only increased positively during our stay. Can't really mention anything we disliked, a small and nice Hotel meeting our expectations. Small improvements could be mentioned here and there however, nothing that would make a stay there uncomfortable. I would book another stay there anytime.

Mr. Furkan helped us with everything he could. The breakfast selection was nice and fresh.

From the moment we arrived, we fell in love with Newalla and its team. The staff were incredibly friendly, informative, and welcoming. The location was perfect—an easy walk to the train, ferry, and all the main Old Town attractions. Our room was clean, spacious, and warm. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, with a great atmosphere, funky music, and a cosy vibe. Highly recommended! Nothing!

We stayed here twice already. The location is very good, close to all tourist attractions. Rooms are clean, heating is with AC but you get the right temperature in the rooms, hot water always. Breakfast has a lot of options, thanks to Halil ? and to the girls. There is a train station 1 minute away from hotel from where you can go to Sirkeci. Parking is included and is safe. There are a lot of cafe and restaurants in the area. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Thank you Halil and Hakan!

It was an excellent hotel ,excellent service, very clean, very comfortable,excellent breakfast , excellent communication..it’s a hidden 5 stars hotel …i highly recommend for everyone Nothing at all everything is over our expectations, it’s top level Hotel

The bathroom was too small even though you couldn't sit on the commode properly. Every time you need to tell the staff to clean the room or else they will not Our room bed is broken.

The breakfast was delicious but not a lot of options as I expected.
