GoldenSand Hotel

The location is walk away from blue mosque and Hajia Sofia Mosque ?. There are so many friendly restaurants just down stairs. Every night there were live music at the restaurants down stairs with very good foods and view of the sea on the roof of hotel . The rooms were so small and tight

Best staff ever

Yesser the manager and his staff took care of us at every turn. They made sure me and family had everything we wanted and needed. We wanted an authentic experience and we got it. It was cozy and they are able to answer any questions we had. We had many and they exceeded our expectations. Great area for food and shopping and visiting the sites. I didn’t like that I couldn’t stay forever.

The shower didn't work very well because the shower head holder wouldn't stay fixed in position.

Good location, staff are really helpful and friendly especially the guys Shahbaz and Shamsdin. We had a wonderful welcoming by Mr. Shahbaz by coffee menu in roof cafe. Small rooms even the VIP rooms, old facilities, elevator doesn’t have stop in ground floor.

The Wi-Fi was quite slow during our stay. We didn't mention it to the staff, so they might have been able to help if we had asked. Other than that, we had a positive experience.

Shahbaz & Shams edin & Ali were very kind and helpful and help me a lot, They provided a seamless service and I highly recommend this hotel because of them

great area of old town. Balcony rooms great for people watching in the restaurant square below. Helpful staff who made good recommendations for special evening on the Bosphorus and turkkish baths. Good value with breakfast included.

Loved the roof terrace and balcony room that overlooks the lively colourful square below. People dining alfresco in multiple restaurants. no complaints

Special thanks for Mr. Shah. without his present I could struggle a lot. He is very kind cooperative and expert in client satisfaction. He made my stay comfortable. Standard room city view is very small and uncomfortable.

Same thing every day. Hard to lock and unlock the door. Disturbing loud doors slamming shut. No lobby. No phone in the room. No elevator.

The staff is highly professional and supportive, extending a warm welcome and offering valuable help and useful insights to enhance the visit. The breakfast is invigorating and features a selection of nutritious food and beverages. I am grateful for their exceptional hospitality and warm reception. And also don’t trust the restaurant nearby they over charge and also they charge more fee …!!! The bed linen was not good quality, and the bathroom's small size and proximity to the laundry area were notable drawbacks. Cleanliness of the room was just average.

The staff here are truly outstanding, and the location is excellent. Please note that this is the Old City—most hotels in the area are located in historic buildings, so while they offer decent space, they are not part of large international chains, which typically don’t have a presence here. That said, you’re in the heart of history—just a short walk to Hagia Sophia, the Grand Bazaar, and other major landmarks. Break fast and AC are good but there is a room for improvement
