Room was simple but elegant. (Loved the beautiful carpet!) Bed was extremely comfortable. Staff was welcoming and very helpful. Location was superb--directly across from the hippodrome, yet remarkably quiet. And having an on-site ground-floor cafe was a plus. Breakfast was prepared and served by the cafe staff. It was satisfactory, but I would have preferred a breakfast buffet where I could choose my own items. Would also have liked to be able to have breakfast on the rooftop terrace. I believe there is one, but it was not operational at the time of my visit.

Located in the center of Istanbul. The included breakfast was excellent. It had a wide variety of dishes, both hot and cold. Everything tasted great. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. While the room was not very big, the location easily justifies this.

This was our second booking with Hotel Spectra, and we'll definitely be coming back next time we are in Istanbul.

The location is fabulous - the Hippodrome is out your front door, yet you feel a bit away from the more intense tourist area. The staff are wonderful - so welcoming and helpful. They helped make my stay special. I enjoyed the buffet breakfast - set me up well for days of exploring. My room was small - but consistent with what you expect in Istanbul. It was well appointed and very clean. Can’t think of anything I fid not like.

Very nice and cozy with warm staffs and a perfect location just steps from the Blue Mosque—you can enjoy the view anytime.

The cleaning staff is outsanding! The location is exceptional, right in the heart of SultanAhmed and major beautiful sights are a minute walk away.

The staff was very helpful. Great central location breakfast and meals were good. Very accommodating and friendly staff. Elevator was small but adequate. They even provided a sandwich for our 3:30 am flight. And made travel accommodations to airport. Steps away from the Blue Mosque area. Small bathroom.

Excellent location, respectful and cooperative staff, fast internet, close to metro stations, and many restaurants. Breakfast is often below standard if you arrive after 9 a.m., as some items may be finished, and they may not refill them easily or at all. Additionally, rooms facing the road can be a bit noisy in the early morning due to their proximity to the Blue Mosque and tourist transportation.

The location can’t be beat! The hotel was comfortable and we slept good here. Breakfast was good too! The room and bathroom are on smaller side but not a big issue for us.

We had a wonderful stay! The most amazing location in all of Istanbul! The photos in the listing do not do it justice. Walking distance to all of the main attractions. Breakfast was amazing. Staff super friendly. Will definitely stay here again if we ever come back to Istanbul. Nothing it was perfect

The location is just perfect, couldn’t be closer to the main square of Sultanahmet, Metin (the owner) could not have been more helpful in arranging tours and taxis. The breakfast is decent and filling and the rooms comfortable.

It's closer to the street, so it's a bit noisy at night.

Location and comfort were what I liked most and safety. I get safe as walked thru small restaurant and then hotel clerk next to elevator. Was updated and very comfortable.
