Taksim Prelude Hotel

My only small remark is that the rooms are a bit compact, but that’s completely understandable for this part of Istanbul, where most hotels in the city centre have smaller rooms. That certainly won’t stop me from coming back. I would be more than happy to stay here again and be the guest of these wonderful, kind-hearted people.

2) Free breakfast on the rooftop. 3) Friendly and accommodating staff. 4) No street noise (which is typically an issue for that area). 1) Wifi was very spotty and slow, at times not available at all. 2) While free, breakfast was plated - there's no menu - you don't get to choose what you want, which could be an issue for guests with certain diet.

Очень приятный отель - находится в тихом переулке, хоть и недалеко от Таксим. Очень хорошие матрасы и плотные шторы, благодаря чему мы отлично выспались. На ресепшн всегда без проблем дают воду. Завтрак свежий, хоть и однообразный, но сытный и за 3-4 дня не успевает надоесть. Зона для завтрака на последнем этаже с прекрасным видом.

All facilities were really nice. Member of staff immediately helped me when necessary. Also the breakfasts were very good as well as the breakfast area on the roof with a great city view. Close to main tourist attractions (7 minutes by foot to metro station +15 minutes by metro+ 5 minutes by tram). The whole Taksim district of Istanbul is for night life of tourists so not quiet. It was some noise from disco, cars, motorcycles till the middle of the nights. Of course its not a specific problem of this particular hotel exclusively, this is the general situation in all hotels in this city district.

The location is perfect. Right in the middle of party district. The staff were also amazing, and very helpful. In fact, one big win for the team there in the hotel was the way they handled and helped us (me and other guest) during our check out when the entire istiklal and taksim area was sealed off due to protest. No cars and get in and out, and the team walked us out the right path to find the taxis for the airport. It was a half hour walk, and they were very helpful on this. Wifi was very unstable and the facilities were very run down. Falling electric socket covers, snapping shower hose, just run down. It's clean enough and the bed was comfortable, and the price was very good, so, I decided to overlook these imperfections and focus on the good ones.

Excellent price and overall an excellent price quality ratio. Great location near Taksim square and Istiklal Street Friendly and polite staff 24 hours open reception. Baggage storage room after checkout. On Friday and Saturday night, there is loud music till late in the evening/night. It's better to take some ear plugs to be able to sleep or noise cancellation headphones Cleanliness could be improved. Also, there was no daily cleaning in the rooms, nor replenishment of bathroom supplies. Some of the bed sheets were torn. Also part of the furniture could be fixed Breakfast is basic, but if you're hungry it will do the job.

Nice staffs and good location near to Taksim square Noisy neighborhood and no stop area for your car to put out your luggages from your car but there’s a paid parking nearby:)

Great location. Staff was very helpful. Vlad , manager at the hotel was extremely courteous and went out of his way to ensure that our stay remains memorable. Gave us helpful tips to see the city. A lot of eateries in the area, great food.

the location was really good. The front desk staff was really helpful. Being on istiklal street I guess you just can not avoid the noise. But the wifi didnt work in my room only .5mbps speed. The breakfast wasn't very good very basic. No coffee option. Also there was something wrong with water it was yellow/brown in color.

The staff is really helpful and respectful. The place is really clean and the rooms are well equipped and so if you are even a single traveller the overall experience feels very safe and comfortable The wifi service was mostly out. I have stayed in prelude 2 times before and the service was much better. The staff told me that they were experiencing a problem and were trying to resolve it with the telecom company and honestly they sounded honest because as i said during my two stays before i did not face the same problem
