Galata World Hotel

The location is close to everything 10 min walk to Galata Tower and 20 min walk to Istiklal street and 5 min walk to Galata Port for breakfast and 2 min walk to Tram and buses The room is spacious and clean and staff were so friendly My only complain was the bed mattress although it was a king bed but it appeared to be 2 single beds close to each other which made it difficult to use it as a king bed with some bending on both sides of each mattress and wasn’t comfortable while sleeping

The bathroom in room 303 was a bit smelly and the towels need softener. Other than that everything was amazing

The lamps on the night stands were just there for decoration. There were no outlets by the bed and the lamps by the nightstand were just unplugged. The WiFi was spotty one night.

This place has an excellent location if you want to explore the main touristic sites by public transport in Istanbul. Otherwise, a place where you can stay, if you are not very demanding. Kitchen facilities virtually non-existent (in a suite with a kitchen corner), you get a note on the wall to wash up after yourself, but no liquid, sponge, towel, anything, not even on asking for it. Other things provided also less then minimal, fridge dripping, etc. Bathroom basically OK, if you do not go for the aesthetics, bit mouldy silicone sealings, water heasitates to go down in shower tray. Bed was bad for us, overly soft. Sofa maybe not as old as I am.

Great location, personal kitchen and bathroom. Nice staff Shower cabin is a little bit dirty and uncomfortable to use, and the room wasn't clean. I found someone's hair in the bed and got a dust allergy. Sofa look bad because of many holes from the Hookah.

The front desk staff were polite and helpful, but the cleaning staff were unexpectedly rude and dismissive. This behavior left a negative impression and affected the overall quality of my stay.

Good location, near Galata tower and transport. The staff was great and helpful. The room was very big with everything that you need. The AC was too loud- it was impossible to sleep while it's working. Some details in the room, such as door handler, are too old and require a replacement. Also you can hear very good everything that is happening nearby or in the hallway..

Friendly staff- shout out to my man Ömer, he was genuinely helpful and did not funnel me into tourist traps as is so common in this city.Accommodations adequate to good - exceptional location. This is very close to the Galata tower and consequently very close to restaurants, shops, the port and Istiklal Street. Very good value for the price. Only issue is the double bed was a combination of two single beds which kept drfiting apart, and I don't need to tell you how that works logistically with couples. Also, not the hotel's fault but understand this part of Istanbul is all extreme inclines- you will walk a lot. Older travellers should look to rent in another part of the city entirely.

Great location, next to restaurants and a cozy café-brunch place - there is no restaurant in the hotel but there's a kitchenette in the room. The bedsheets were softer than any 5* hotel I've visited. The pillows.

The room was spacious and clean. It was very close to public transport and things to see and do. Smell of cigarette smoke that has penetrated everything. We stayed for a week and bought room-spray and left all windows open during the day, but we could not get rid of the deeply penetrated smell of cigarette smoke. The smoke actually affected our sinuses and lungs and we had to get medicine to treat the symptoms.

It is located near the most known sights and landmarks, the staff were kind especially Salma was very helpful, really cosy, comfortable and clean. All good nothing I don’t like about

The Manager, Supervisor, and Staff were very friendly and helpful, specially Said and Omar. We loved our stay there and will come back again Inshaa Allah.

Amazing location to explore Istanbul Air conditioning wasn't working

Very spacious and private room with extremely friendly and accommodating staff. The bathroom needs a bit of work. The lighting in the bathroom is very dim and the shower head needs to be used like a handheld shower head otherwise it wets the floor. But everything worked as should.
