30% discount for coffee The pictures that you see on different websites are photoshopped - in reality you will get an old hotel with dirty carpets, sofas, towels and bed sheets. When we checked in I found somebody’s hair on the floor and a pillow. The air conditioner in our room didn’t work for the whole stay (at night it was 5-7 degrees outside), the receptionist promised to fix it but of course nobody came and we had to sleep in a cold room for 4 days. Moreover, our apartment smelled like somebody smoked there for a couple of years non-stop, even the clothes in my baggage smell like cigarettes. The toilet was broken and there was a sound of running water all the time. On the 31 st of December we came to the hotel at night and couldn’t get inside because the staff have forgotten to give us a key from the main door and we waited about 20 minutes outside in a cold weather. Avoid booking this place, the only pleasant thing was 30% discount for coffee, but taking into account all the disadvantages, we should have gotten it for free as a compensation.

Good location close to shops, restaurants and the metro Our room did not look like the photos. There was no door between the two bedrooms. It was dirty and not in a good condition. There was no coffee making facilities and we had to ask for water. The curtains could not close proper, and our head bord was loose. We stayed only one night.

the location of the hotel is very convenient for walking and to go to the city the tram is within walking distance. the administrator is very kind and friendly! we are glad that we chose this place

Location is perfect and the room was good. The beds were very comfortable and it was not too noisy at all despite being off of the main road. The room was clean, however the carpet appeared dirty and some things in the building a bit run down. But this is to be expected in an older neighborhood. We did not love that people were smoking in other rooms, but luckily it did not travel up to our room.

The staff and the location

The bathroom was not in the best condition, some things were broken and there was some mold. There was also some problems with the light switches, and the floor was covered in carpet which felt a bit unsanitary. But we're not so picky, so it was fine for us, especially since we got the last-minute discount.

Not clean

This hotel was a great find! The rooms were comfortable, making for a relaxing stay. Mr. Ali was friendly and always there for help. The location was perfect for exploring the city, with both tram and bus stops steps away .

Ali was one of the best hosts I have ever had at a hotel. He was available 24/7 and was very nice, welcoming, and it felt like home! Everything was beyond perfect

The bed was comfortable and the staff did try to accommodate for the fact that the hotel was being renovated. However I feel that the vacancy should not have advertised when the hotel was not completely ready for guests. The room was not the room I had initially booked, carpets at the time were stained, the bathroom ceiling had black mold, walls were marked, and you could clearly hear the guests in the surrounding rooms. To clarity my review, the hotel clearly has potential and will no doubt be a wonderful place to stay, close to Galata Tower and central to the city center, once fully renovated. However, just for my two-night occupancy, it was not up to an acceptable standard for a satisfactory stay.

There is no lift and building is old though they renovated. Rooms are Ok but not very cleaned. Toilet is too small to use and shower was broken. If your next door person is smooking you can have smell in your rooms. We stayed for 2 days. For short stay its not a bad place.

All was perfect

There were plenty of hair and debris on the carpet and beside the bed someone drew garbages but it was not cleaned I have stayed three days there was no made room and no one gave me extra towels

The location is amazing, close to the public transport stop and some wonderful tourist’s attractions. But the hotel is on a side from all the crowd and noise. The manager sends me a message on my private wapp number 12 hours before arrival, asking what time am I going to be in the hotel. And it was sent at 3 am! As well it was written that the check in starts at 2pm, we arrived around 3pm and our room wasn’t ready in the next 1,5 hours. And in next 2 days the dirty towel from previous guests were left behind the toilet… More over the same manager sent me a few messages after we left the hotel asking to leave 10stars review on booking. While him was aware of my opinion about all this private messaging thing. All this situation made me really uncomfortable and nervous. Because I’m proving my personal data to the Booking, for an emergency reason, not for receiving requests from the hotel workers.

Location and stafr - that's why I gave a 3 and not 1. (P.S. many people seem to evaluate the staff and give various hotels on websites better rating than they deserve, which is misleading. I based my evaluation on facts and real conditions of the accommodation, not how staff does their job) The rooms are far from what the photos show and the condition is run-down (dirty carpets, mold even in the water cooker as mentioned by another guest as well, spotted towels, etc.) The walls and windows are super thin, so you hear everything from everywhere at any time. Also, some rooms have boilers built in, which are connected to other rooms on the floor and turn on everytime, somebody uses hot water (3 rooms in total).

Location is perfect! Staff is very kind.
