The location was perfect-- just a few minutes' walk from the Golden Horn in Galata, near Galata Tower and just a few minutes from great restaurants, shopping and nightlife. The room was also a great value! It had a mini fridge and a small desk, with basic amenities like water and coffee provided. The receptionist who checked me in was friendly. The place was clean, but I didn't realize my room would be in the basement and the room was on the small side. I only saw someone at reception when I called them so I could check in, otherwise there no receptionist at the desk throughout the day.

The one thing I didn't like was the lack of soundproof walls which led to sounds from other rooms disturbing us, especially during the night.

All good. The stairs may be a problem for someone with heavy luggage or difficulty walking.

This was our second time staying here, and it already feels like home. The apartments are so cozy and perfectly clean, every detail makes you feel comfortable. The hosts are incredibly kind and always ready to help. We left with warm hearts and we know for sure we’ll come back again!

The best hotel available in this price category: clean, cozy with friendly staff. Very close to Istiklal street and Galata tower. No noise at night. We stayed at deluxe double with terrace overlooking the garden - what a charm! Even though location is good, I wouldn't recommend this area for people with walking distance. The issue is not even the hotel itself, but the area around Galata - steep hills that can cause problems for senior travellers or families with baby strollers

The hotel is super clean and well maintained. The front desk is not always there, but when we arrived earlier than expected, I believed they saw us on the camera and the guy showed up right away. The best part of the hotel is the location. It is within an easy walk to the cruise terminal, Galata Tower, and the Heritage Tram. If you need to get to the other tourist hotspots, the hotel is also close to the tram station. Location is one of the top reasons I like the hotel, but it is also the one thing I wish was better. The hotel is located in a small street, almost an alley. The street leads to a dead end so there is only entry point. Since it is a dead end, often cars are parked in the middle street not allowing a vehicle to reach the hotel which is about 30 yards in. When we arrived, our vehicle had to drop us off at the intersection and we had to lug our baggage to the hotel.

Once we got the better room, everything was great - the room was large, with storage, comfortable bedding and all necessary amenities. The location is very convenient, and the staff is super helpful and approachable. They aren't always at the reception, but you can message them on Booking and they will do all they can to help. The area has a lot of nice shops and the best pide bakery. We were first placed in a basement room (Double Room with Patio) which was truly not nice - whilst it had "a patio", it is more of a basement well. The sound isolation there was poor, the room was dusty, the lights didn't work properly, it was dark and the room was next to an open-door toilet and cleaning supplies. We complained and got an upgrade to an excellent room.

The front desk staff was nice. The housekeeping lady was also nice. We didn't need the room to be cleaned daily but they asked us anyway. The room is nice, clean and location is great! The bedsheet is too warm for my taste, so I had to turn on the airco to cool mode. There is no 24/7 receptionist so you should make sure to arrange the arrival/departure beforehand. Regardless I am happy with this stay :)

We got excepcional value for the price. The front desk guy was super friendly and helpful, which made our stay even better. Our room was clean and, even though it was in the basement, it was surprisingly quiet, though we were out exploring most of the day. Overall, a great experience, and we’ll definitely be back!
