La Porte de Taksim

Great location right next to Taksim Square, in a safe and busy neighborhood filled with other hotels, shops and cafes that work late into the night. But inside the room you don't hear much outside noise. There are just two rooms on each floor, so not much noise from the neighbors as well. Nice views from the window and the roof terrace

It was a bit cold and the chair was a bit worn out, otherwise everything is good

The air conditioner was a bit loud, though we quickly got used to it after the first night. Some nights, we could hear noises from above the room, like someone moving or jumping. Also our room view wasn’t great it faced another building, so it looked a bit dull.

Although the location is very good - Taksim Square, sometimes it can be an inconvenience. Due to the symbolic importance of the square, sometimes the police block the entire area, making it impossible to move around by public transport or taxi, only on foot.

The location is great, nearby taksim but not too close to Istikal Street. Most importantly, the hotel is in the flat road, so easy for walk, luggages, and strollers. They have elevator. The night shift reception is very nice and informative. They will clean up your room every 3 days. It’s ok for me, but I think will be better if they can refill the water and amenities everyday (even though they don’t clean the room). The room is a bit small, so the top open luggage is recommended

Location is not bad, super close to Taksim Square SUPER noisy. Not only from the Area itself but from the own property. Hosts and guests are speaking out loud as if they were by themselves and nobody else around. One they were arranging chairs I guess, 6 am and instead of lifting them they’d make this annoying and loud noise when dragging the chairs. Would definitely not come back just because I’m more of a quiet staying person.

The hotel in the booking.com is ok but in reality it’s not. Don’t fall on the pictures they are showing in booking.com. I struggled to get to know the location even they have in google. The hotel board is very small and less visible. And the amenities are very poor. The rooms are very small and they don’t have even an exhaust fan in the restroom. Very bad hotel. Please don’t go.

Nothing but good words for the staff. Very attentive, very polite and nice. They even helped us with a work emergency which was after check-out. The location is perfect, very close to Taksim Square, to the metro. bust stations. It feels safe and very lively all the time. The lack of natural lighting in the rooms. But nothing that can't be overlooked, since we spent most of our time exploring the city.

It was very good, staff is very friendly, isolation is very good, room was very clean, very near to taksim square. Mr mahdy is very helpful and kind. Thanks alot Only the ac have a sound but the weather is very good we didn’t switched on the rest of our stay. Room is a little bit tight but is the natural of building in this area.

near Taksim square , staff was great, room size is big and it’s quiet. we had to ask for tea, coffee everyday as room service never put it. but reception staff was always helpful and within 5 mins they bring.
