Sultan Pier Hotel

We stayed at Sultan Pier Hotel for a few days and had a very pleasant experience. While there are a few small things in the room that could be improved, overall everything was perfectly fine. The room was rather small, but bright, clean, and comfortable. The bed linens were spotless, and the hotel was very quiet, which made for a good night's sleep. The location is excellent – right in the heart of Sultanahmet and within walking distance of the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, the Basilica Cistern, and many other attractions. It is also very close to public transportation, including the T1 tram line (10 min) and bus stop (BN1 - max 3 min). The reception staff were exceptionally kind and helpful throughout our stay. We traveled by car, and they assisted us with parking directly in front of the hotel. You simply leave your car key at reception so they can move the vehicle if necessary. We had absolutely no issues. In fact, on the evening before our departure, they even prepared and repositioned our car to make it very easy for us to leave early the next morning. A big thank you to the entire team for their hospitality. From my perspective, this hotel deserves a 10/10 rating, and we will definitely return on our next visit to Istanbul. The room was a bit small, and there are a few minor details in the room that could be refreshed or improved. However, these were very small issues and did not affect our stay. Overall, the hotel offers excellent value for money, especially considering its outstanding location and the kindness of the staff.

Location No sound insulation, noise from street, noise from the stairs, noise from other rooms, noise from the building entrance door. Unresponsive host. Misleading room description.

1- Clean. 2- Friendly staff. 3- Location is good (walking distance from the blue mosque and its surroundings. 1- I booked the luxury room for the view of the mosque and for the bigger room, they gave me a room with view of the opposite direction (facing other similar tiny hotels), I was shocked by the room (if the luxury one is this small, I don’t know how tiny is the basic option). Also be aware that you may not get the view that appears in the photos here in booking. 2- The whole hotel (BTW I don’t think it’s an official hotel), is very tiny, they even placed the reception down in the basement.

The room was small but well-maintained and comfortable. The host was exceptionally responsive, pleasant, and helpful, assisting us with everything we needed. The only minor downside is that breakfast isn’t provided, but overall, it was a lovely stay and great value for the location.

Located close to the biggest attractions if that’s important to you. Decent shower. Pictures are deceiving. They make the room look much better than reality. Broken bed. Half of the mattress collapsed. Very small room, very small. Had to lay luggage on the floor to get clothes in and out. Key didn’t work. Didn’t hold the charge. Had to request a key daily to get back in my room. Stayed 7 days. You’d think they’d offer a better room especially since they weren’t fully booked. There’s much better choices. When I read the other reviews I’m shocked at how positive some are. I wouldn’t stay again.

Everything was great From location to staff and customer service..they were incredibly helpful and very friendly...the management was running by 2 Brothers they speak English very well and they know how to make clients happy ...I recommend this place ? and I will try to get there again ...they definitely deserve 10 stars... Also, the rate is very, very affordable spececialy for the location around everything you need on vacation... restaurants, markets, and historically places .. I need at least 5 pages to describe how great this place is. All is good

Really enjoyed my stay here! Everything was super clean and comfortable. The people running the place were amazing, so friendly and always happy to help with anything. You can tell they genuinely care. I was only there for a short time, but I wish I could’ve stayed longer. I’ll definitely be coming back and plan to stay even longer next time!

The owners are very nice and welcoming and they help me with eveything.The hotel is in the heart of Istanbul and easy to reach by car in the crowded Istanbul.Also they provide safe parking place for the car witch is hard to have in the area.Thank you for everything and see you next time!Magdalena

Truly one of the best hotel experiences i’ve ever had. Everything went above and beyond. Staff were friendly and helpful at all times. The location was very central and accessible to everywhere. I can't wait to stay here again!

One of the highlights of our experience was the outstanding service. Aykut, in particular, was incredible – kind, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. He made us feel genuinely welcome and took care of every little detail to ensure our stay was perfect. Thanks to him and the whole team, we felt right at home. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul. We can’t wait to come back!

Nothing major, just a couple of things - the pillows are uncomfortable and need to be changed and the water pressure + the ever changing temperature of the water in the shower should be dealt with. Still very good value for the price.

Accessibility to attractions

Super nice hosts, helped us a lot with getting around the city, transportation and finding places to eat, very welcoming and warm. Location is super close to Sultan Ahmet, room is bring and warm (went during February).

The hotel is 10min walk from Blue Mosque, you have parking places there, also the room was clean and the stuff friendly. I liked to stay here, i will choose the same place next time for sure. The only thing was that at the room from 2 level, the watwr temperature was not all the time constant, sometime eas cold and then hot and was a little bit frustrating. In rest, everything was ok.

Superb

The location was very good and a clean and spacious room was provided. We were disturbed a few times in the night due to the surrounding area but it wasn’t a deal breaker. Our TV also didn’t work.

Such a lovely stay! The staff were friendly and helpful and the owner went out of his way to make us comfortable and direct us to restaurants and other attractions in the area. Would recommend 100%.

Easy to enter the property, also had great room service. The recieptionist was very helpful, he is very well mannered person. He understood English very well so it was easy to communicate with him. I just didn’t got the view I wanted, I thought there will be mosque in my view but it wasn’t, also it’s bit downhill so yeah.
