Taksim square and metro close by - Was not clean at all, specially the toilet was very smelly. - There are unpleasant girls are sitting at the entrance at night - When booked , they said ironing stand can be provided on request but they declined and remove from the options - No tissue paper provided - Safe box often will not open had to call support - Elevator can hardly fit 3 people - Air conditioning doesn't work properly and very old setup noisy. Its like old air vents - The fridge was full of ice clots - Pillows were very old

There is no restaurant for lunch or dinner, only breakfast was provided. Also, I did not feel safe because there were women behaving suspiciously outside the hotel entrance every night.

The service in general was really good. Ismail was really nice and helpful and made my stay really enjoyable. The breakfast is not the best and it is not labelled. Which makes harder to choose what you wanna eat.

The girl ? was only few experience so she toke my payment more than one time and this put me in taruble satuation .. this hotel is yes in beating in the center of the city but it’s no the perfect choose . Nothing

My room which was a duplex. Almost nothing.

For those of us who are light sleepers, sleeping in rooms facing the front (mosque and street) might be a bit difficult because the windows weren't very good, and it was the worst hotel experience I've ever had in terms of noise. I hope the windows are fixed soon.

The room wasnt the same we booked the receptionist said when one is available they will move me but this didnt happen., the furniture is very old and not very clean. The breakfast is the same every day.

The beds were not that comfortable ? ! That was the last only downside

Great location, nice room size , good room service staff and check in so smooth All Reception staff are not friendly and their main target is to let you participate on attractions trips with high price and if not happened so everything will not be accepted except the one we met on the check in was so helpful, friendly and nice

At least the reception and workers and as well breakfast were good. A lot of things. For example the hair dryer wasn't working at all and I mentioned that to them but nothing was changed or fixed. After second day the lamps inside of the room were not working again nothing.

It’s was very clean and very close to Taksim square. The furniture was a little bit old, while in residential sector was good.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Cartoon Hotel. The location is excellent, just a few steps from Taksim Square and close to many restaurants, shops, and public transport. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the unique cartoon-themed design made the hotel different and fun. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. A great choice for anyone visiting Istanbul

I like how welcoming they are and how close it is for anywhere Its a bit old and they weren’t very accurate with the room, i requested queen size room single person but received a room with huge bed & single bed on the side , also the cleaning staff are very talkative in the hall way and you can’t sleep in @ morning

They were really kind. They offered us the free breakfast and they gave us a basket of fruits in our room. The location was really good. There is a mosque near the property and at the 6 on the morning they played call to prayer (Izan) really loudly. But it wasn’t the hotel’s problem actually. Maybe you will need to bring a earbuds

Clean friendly and kind staff and well location

1 - Location is excellent. short walk to Taksim square and Istiqlal street and close to many transportation, food joints and cafes. 2 - Room space was OK, yet an air condition in one of the rooms was not working as expected. 3 - Staff are nice and helpful and supportive for any questions. 4 - We were offered free breakfast during our stay although our booking was based on bed only. 5 - Internet connection in the room was good. 1 - Elevator is a nightmare specially at breakfast time when there is high traffic. only 2 very small elevators are available that serve the entire hotel and waiting time can be extreme. 2 - Sound isolation in the rooms is not good. you can hear the foot steps of anyone walking outside the room and of course you can hear people talking outside the room or infront of the elevator.
