Nothing, I just prayed that I would get killed or stolen the first night and The second day I could not complete the stay and left in midnight Not good everything is very bad, no service, no electricity, everything was just very BAD.

Not having an elevator especially with heavy luggage, but on the good side, the staff is very helpful and assists you in getting up the stairs with your suitcases

Location, bar downstairs, friendly staff, great value Weekend nights were a little loud as you’re right next to the Main Street with bars and restaurants, nothing the hotel could do about it but just as a heads up.

The shower was great. The room was quiet and it was in a great location Not enough bed linens available for the foldout bed or towels for 2 people.

Amazing location, cute little bar on the ground floor and good size clean room. We lived on the third floor and it was quiet. No elevators, but we were helped by the managers to bring our stuff upstairs.

Cheers Porthouse is a real gem right in the middle of Karaköy, one of Istanbul’s coolest and most lively neighborhoods. The hostel is set in a beautiful old building but feels super fresh and modern inside. The rooms are clean, comfy, and have everything you need after a day of exploring the city. What really makes this place special is the staff-they’re genuinely friendly and always happy to help with tips or anything you might need. There’s a relaxed vibe throughout the hostel, with a nice entrance/reception area, making it easy to meet other travelers or just chill out. The location couldn’t be better: you’re surrounded by great cafés, bars, and restaurants (the best of Turkish cuisine), and it’s a short walk to the Galataport, ferry, Galata Tower, and public transport. You are one step away from what Istanbul offers. Whether you’re traveling solo or with friends, Cheers Porthouse is the perfect spot to soak up the best of Istanbul. Highly recommended! Not much to not like. If you have a car, maybe check your parking lot options as the hotel is in a street that is closed for cars.

very dirty place, no elevator, no emergency exit, there is no one in reception, no security, no cleaning room service, broken assets, air-conditioning was not working

Hakan, owner/manager is extremely fluent in English. He is interested in making his guests have fun. This place would be the first stop on a pub crawl! It’s in the heart of downtown close to Galata bridge and all other attractions. Long stairs, 4 floors, but no need to fret, there’s help lugging your luggage up n down.

The metro is close. There are no advantages, you will be deceived, cheated out of money, zero service, zero cleanliness, you will be ignored. I wish the management to find new workers and pay attention to the mess. one point only because the metro is nearby. Terrible service. We stayed for 6 days, there was no cleaning, and we were given two towels 40 cm and that’s it. Employees ignore you, respond rudely, or laugh in your face.,and pretend that they don’t understand English. We were asked to pay in cash, charged 5 euros more, promised to give the money back because there was no change, and didn’t give it back We had breakfast paid for for 6 days and were fed only for 2 days,after the scandal . On other days, the manager replied, “I want to sleep and there will be no breakfast.” There are broken mirrors in the room, the air conditioner only turns on when the window is open.There is zero sound insulation, there are often parties in the bar and you don't sleep all night. They promised me a refund for breakfast, but in the end I have been asking for my money for a month, but they are deceiving me.This is the most terrible hotel and vacation, I do not recommend it to anyone. YOU have to beg and plead for your money back.
