Perfect location, very close to the tram and tunel.

Hotel Momento at Golden Horn area is terrific - right at the intersection of everything that we were looking for. The facility is very clean & the staff is superb - special shout out for Mr. Sedat who really tries to set things right for the guests. The top floor restaurant serves really delicious breakfasts with much variety & quality foods - not to mention the spectacular views! Highly recommended!

The location, the staff & the food

All was exceptional. All of Istanbul was wonderufl for us.
-
Loved the property and the restaurant upstairs. Room was small, but more importantly, there was not enough storage space, we had to put clothes and luggage in the sitting area.
-
Cleanliness, location close to places worth visiting. The view from the eighth-floor restaurant and the breakfast and food are delicious, but the selection is limited. The view of the street opposite, a kind of chaos.
-
The lighting in the room. In my opinion they need more light :)

The room was clean and comfortable. The location is very convenient. It is close to all the main historical sites. We did like breakfast there.

The biggest strength of this hotel is its fantastic location. It sits right by the bridge connecting Beyoğlu with Sultanahmet, making it extremely convenient for exploring both sides of the historic center. The upper-floor rooms have wonderful views across the Golden Horn, which is a real highlight, especially in the morning and evening. The rooms themselves are well-appointed, comfortable, and nicely maintained, and the breakfast is good. Where the experience fell short was front desk service, which feels more like a training issue. On our first night, the desk staff magnetized only one key card for the two of us and gave it to a staff member who didn’t speak English to escort us to the room. This felt unnecessary in such a small hotel, especially since the room was right next to the elevator, and it would have been more helpful simply to issue two keys. There were a few other small touches that felt more like market-style negotiating than a four-star hotel experience—for example, an airport transfer was initially offered at the same price as a taxi and then discounted by €10 when we didn’t immediately accept. Finally, at checkout the staff asked to inspect the minibar in the room before completing the checkout, despite already having our credit card on file. None of these issues are major on their own, but together they leave the impression that service standards don’t match the quality of the property itself.
