Momento Golden Horn Hotel

Amazing location. Eren who worked as the bell boy was so friendly and assisted us with any questions we had and gave us local insider tips. He was the best. I’d return just because of how nice and accommodating he was with us. The restaurant on the rooftop is a must try. Our room was a lot smaller than we thought it would be from the photos. The bed was the perfect size, but the area with the couch felt cramped.

Staff were very friendly, helpful, and caring; the breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of choices; and the location of the hotel is very convenient with easy walking distance to nearby shopping and restaurants and to public transport (bus, tram, and ferry) that can take you to all major attractions. An evening walk on the bridge was lovely and safe. The airport transfer driver the hotel front desk arranged for us needs to be reminded (if not outright admonished) about his driving behavior; from the hotel to the airport, on a busy expressway. He kept checking his cellphone, looking up numbers, texting, or talking with someone. Almost half of the time, to the point that we couldn’t refrain anymore and had to ask him to stop for our own safety. He did listen, though, and stopped. Since we paid the hotel for this service, we hope the hotel will let their driver know that this is not an acceptable behavior.

I liked the room, view from it, and cleanliness. The hairdryer didn’t work. I didn’t ask for a replacement cause I stayed for a night only.

We booked 3 rooms and stayed for 4 nights. During my stay, one of my personal belongings, a pair of pants, disappeared from my room. I searched everywhere, but it was nowhere to be found. When we reported the incident to the hotel staff, they showed no concern and made no real effort to investigate or help us. Their lack of professionalism and complete indifference made the situation even more frustrating. A hotel should provide a safe environment for its guests and take complaints seriously. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. Because of the poor security and the way the management handled our complaint, I would not stay here again and cannot recommend this hotel. Be very careful with your personal belongings if you choose to stay at this hotel.

The room had a beautiful view over the harbor area and the other side, and the night lights were especially gorgeous. The location was great. The restaurant upstairs was excellent - one of the best meals we had in Istanbul. Something in the room was heavily perfumed, which was unpleasant. Opened the window to air it out, and it was loud outside (but not loud with the window closed).

We reserved one of three rooms for our family and stayed for 4 nights. During our stay, personal belongings disappeared from our room, leaving us shocked and very disappointed. We expected a hotel to provide a safe environment for its guests, but unfortunately, that was not our experience. The most frustrating part was the way the hotel handled our complaint. We informed the staff as soon as we noticed the missing items, but they showed no real concern, offered no meaningful assistance, and made no serious effort to investigate what had happened. We felt that our complaint was simply ignored. This experience completely ruined our stay and made us lose confidence in the hotel’s security and management. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a safe and reliable place to stay. If you choose to stay here, make sure you keep your valuables with you at all times.

We booked 3 rooms at Momento Golden Horn Hotel and stayed for 4 nights. During our stay, several of our personal belongings went missing from different rooms. A full shopping bag disappeared from one room, while bed sheets, a pair of pants, and a pair of glasses disappeared from another room. This was extremely upsetting and made us feel completely unsafe. We never expected our belongings to disappear from our hotel rooms. What was even more disappointing was the hotel’s response. We reported the missing items immediately, but the management and staff showed no concern, made no serious effort to investigate, did not check the security cameras, and offered no explanation or assistance. We felt completely ignored.

Everything. Excellent staff and location with clean comfortable rooms! I would definitely stay here again! Nothing.

The 30 euro breakfast is terrible and definitely not worth getting

View from room ! Could see old city, galata bridge and ferry traffic. Easy access to ferries, Funicular and tram. Modern and clean. Fantastic breakfast with real made to order coffee.Efficient large and secure elevator. AC cooling was responsive. Some may complaine of noise. But right overlooking a city of 20 million what an experience!

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff were extremely friendly, professional, and helpful throughout our visit. Excellent hospitality and service. Highly recommended!!

The hotel was comfortable, clean, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. What truly made our experience exceptional was the care and support we received when our baby daughter became sick during our stay. The hotel staff including the GM himself went above and beyond by helping us get to the hospital and staying with us to make sure everything was okay. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine concern meant so much to us during a stressful time. We are very grateful for their outstanding hospitality and support. A special thanks to Serdar, Fatih, Sedat, Sinan and the entire team for making us feel safe and cared for. We highly recommend Momento Hotel and would gladly stay here again on our next visit to Istanbul. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Everything was fantastic! We arranged the optional private water taxi service from the airport, and Maria welcomed us with a big smile upon arrival. Even though our flight was delayed by two hours, the entire transfer and check-in process was smooth, fast, and stress-free. The apartment appears to have been recently renovated and features high-quality materials, tasteful décor, and stylish furnishings. The layout and overall design are both thoughtful and elegant. The appliances, amenities, and household equipment were also carefully selected with guests’ comfort and convenience in mind. Most importantly, Sara and Maria demonstrated exceptional hospitality throughout our stay. Their warm greetings, helpful information, and prompt responses made us feel genuinely welcomed and well cared for. We highly recommend this apartment for anyone planning a trip to Venice! None. If possible, tissue box would be extra point!

Perfect location, very close to the tram and tunel.

Hotel Momento at Golden Horn area is terrific - right at the intersection of everything that we were looking for. The facility is very clean & the staff is superb - special shout out for Mr. Sedat who really tries to set things right for the guests. The top floor restaurant serves really delicious breakfasts with much variety & quality foods - not to mention the spectacular views! Highly recommended!

The location, the staff & the food

All was exceptional. All of Istanbul was wonderufl for us.

Loved the property and the restaurant upstairs. Room was small, but more importantly, there was not enough storage space, we had to put clothes and luggage in the sitting area.

Cleanliness, location close to places worth visiting. The view from the eighth-floor restaurant and the breakfast and food are delicious, but the selection is limited. The view of the street opposite, a kind of chaos.
