Location, Staff, Breakfast and view ! Room didn’t have an AC that seemed to work. There was a thermostat but only fan/heat options tho I couldn’t actually feel a fan. Minor as it was wet n not hot out when we were there but still.

The location was perfect Old building. Cards for doors didn’t work. Was given keys and that also didn’t always work. Rooms were nice but certain things needed updating. Staff didn’t speak English well enough. Needed Google translate quite a few times Needed to call to have air conditioner flipped on

Location was excellent. Tram was across the street. Walking distance to the Spice Bazaar and the ferry terminal. Lots of eateries close by. Bonus was having the money exchange place next door with a decent rate. Had issues with the door and made the first night very unpleasant as it was late and we were tired. The front desk didn’t speak much English so communication was difficult. They did upgrade me the next day and I ended up with a big room with an amazing view of the Bosphorous, Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. In the end my stay was pleasant.

The staff was great -- they really showed us the Turkish hospitality. The location is perfect, right by the Galata Bridge -- next to the tram line and the funicular. The room was clean -- a pretty average room. The view from the breakfast floor was amazing. We had many issues with our room key card when our first day, and let them know about it, and they said they would fix it, but never did. The lighting in the room could be better -- I could barely put my contacts in with how dark it was in the bathroom. There were no other mirrors in the room, but the bathroom. The wifi wasn't the best -- always disconnected and wasn't strong. Ended up using data most of the time.

Location, staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was clean, breakfast was adequate and the rooftop view was extraordinary. You can relax there while waiting. Special mention to Sayfullah, Ramazan, Yusuf, Metin and Sevim who gave excellent service! Nothing really

Very nice and experience during the stay in Nordstern Galata. The staff allowed us to enter the roof top and enjoy the Turkish tea before checking in! The roof top has absolutely fantastic view of sea and people crowd. The breakfast is also very good :)

This hotel was perfect for us. If you want to stay in Istanbul this is the place to stay. Central location, you can enjoy all the day time activities. Site seeing and tours ect. And at night you have the convenience of close to bars and restaurants with music. Great for a family. The staff was so friendly, all of them!! The breakfast was delicious. I totally recommend this hotel. Thank you
