Overall excellent, old but it is excellent

Great location. Tea was great Bathroom had mold. Breakfast was not that good. Juice was horrible and they charge you for water at breakfast

Exceptional! I can only describe the hotel owner Mr Oktay as being one of the last few genuine hosts.Every need was catered for with a smile from start to finish ,as his guest he gave you 100%.From money excha ge to organising itineraries and suggestions to providing umbrellas everything was done with a Bìg Heart!It was a pleasure to have met Mr Oktay and his Beautiful family for me he was the true gem of Istanbul. I would like to say a Big Thank You especially for saving the day at the 11th hour when arranged taxi for airport failed to arrive Mr Oktay stepped in and provided transport so again iam very greatful to have met such a beautiful soul and look forward to a return visit......And i must also give due recognition to his fabulous breakfast Thank you Derek ❤ from Ireland ??

Oktay was a great host, I couldn't find a time during the days of my stay when he wasn't available in person at the front desk, let it be early morning or late at night, always smiling and being friendly. The whole staff was absolutely professional, nice and welcoming, it felt almost like a family business, they were so kind. The hotel is very close to tram line #1, only a few minutes of walk so it's easy to get basically anywhere in town. The room itself was totally ok for what it was, anyone complaining about the size of the room or anything should be mistaking the place with much more expensive hotels. For the price, it's not only ok but exceptionally good, situated in the middle of Istanbul old town, within walking distance of Blue Mosque, Ayasofia and Sultanahmet or the Grand Bazaar, it's absolutely worth booking a room here if you need a place to rest for the night and exploring the city during the day. The bed is really comfortable and everything was as clean as possible. The facilities in the room are also good, there was a small fridge, a wardrobe closet in the room and hairdryer in the bathroom. The wifi signal was a bit weak in the room sometimes but totally usable. The breakfast is simple but good, a couple more slices of cold cuts would be good but please don't take it as a complain, it was a good variety of food options with juice and coffee available anytime during the day, when I told Oktay I'll be leaving for an early morning flight he even offered to prepare sandwiches for the trip. The only thing that would have been good if I could open the window properly for a bit of fresh air during the morning, but it's the only thing I can mention as room for improvement.

Excellent location, fantastic breakfast, and the entire staff was superb. It’s an older building but the upkeep by the staff is excellent.

Hotel owner allows me to early check in. This is so helpful that I could take test after midnight fright. Room is spacious and comfortable. Hot water comes out very quickly. Breakfast service is amazing. You can have breakfast with high quality of coffee. Location is convenient to access tram and go directly blue mosque on foot.

Owner is friendly also Location is great and near from attractions and tram Value of money No elevator as it’s a motel or small hotels same as most of hotels in this area

Stayed for one night during a 24h layover between flights. The room was clean and comfortable (although very small, and somewhat worn out), breakfast was great, location - super convenient both for sightseeing and for getting to/from the airport hassle-free

A hotel with an outstanding staff, a delicious breakfast, and a great location. It is comfortably, cozy and clean. It also has a terrace with a covered area which is open 24hs with free coffee and tea. It has a beautiful view to the Bosphorus.

The location is perfect! The host is eager to help with whatever request you may have. The rooftop terrace and its view are amazing. The whole hotel is really dilapidated and cries for serious make over. If you are accustomed to luxury accomodation, forget about this. This hotel is value for money, though.

The hotel is well located near tramway, shops and sightseeing locations. The place is cosy and clean, with breakfast and tea/coffee available 24 hours. Also the terrace with an exceptional view is an amazimg bonus! Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Good food, very helpful and friendly staff. You could fix the lock to the room, sometimes took a bit of key wiggling to get in, or out!

great place for our family, and the owner & staff were very helpful & accommodating. Also, the fifth floor public room was a nice option to have, and the view was great! I suppose the Turkish breakfast was not the best match for my American tastes, but there was plenty of food, coffee, & tea.
