Olimpic Hotel

Location, location, location Aircon and heater were not working properly, our room was so hot we were sweating!

The fantastic hotel ? location is excellent walking distance to all !!! super safe neighborhoods to explore Istanbul.. to all it's employees thank you ? special at Iman on the resection, Ben,Ozer,Sukran I recommend this hotel ? ?.

We had a pleasant stay at the Olimpic Hotel; unfortunately, our vacation took a turn for the worse due to a medical emergency. The staff went above and beyond to help us get to the hospital, made sure we had everything we needed, and even assisted with translation—after hours as well. Their kindness and support during such a stressful time meant so much to our family, especially the care they showed our children. The hotel is in a great location, and the breakfast was excellent. We will definitely come back. Nothing

The hotel is clean and comfortable, with beautiful rooms and a lovely sea view. The breakfast was excellent with great variety. Perfect location—only a 5-minute walk to Hagia Sophia, Sultan Ahmed Mosque, and the tram station. Highly recommended Nothing everything was justperfect

Great location, great staff, very friendly indeed. Breakfast was not super, but it is indeed very good value for money. The only downside was that the room was smaller than it looks in the images on Booking; however, still a great value for money. Room size is very small for 3 people, barely any place to keep luggage

Nice central location in the Sultanamet district within easy walking distance of many key historical sites. The hotel was nice, staff were pleasant, and the breakfast very good. Like many hotels in Istanbul this is an older but well maintained building. That also means it can be noisier than some hotels as hall conversations echo and elevator doors clang. Overall, a nice place to stay.

The hotel staff was very nice. The location of this hotel was great! There was a metro station 5 min from the hotel, a 10 min walk to the Gran Bazar and important mosques.

Not double room, we got 1 queen bed for double instead of 2 twin.

Location is excellent, near all main mosques. Staff are very nice. Receptionist Doğa was very attentive and provided valuable information all the time. There is a restaurant next door that has loud music at nights, at least on the weekend that we were there. It was a bit uncomfortable but luckily they stopped after midnight.

Good location as you can access other parts of the city by foot and there are a few amenities nearby like a coffee shop, restaurants and some supermarkets too. Massive improvements needed: Noise - not only the walls are super thin, neither guests nor night staff respect quiet hours late at night. We had to ask people to be mindful of their voice at 1am as it was impossible to sleep with so much noise, this included the night receptionist speaking loudly downstairs (we were on the first floor). We could also hear the music from the restaurant next door. Breakfast - very poor selection of food. No one wants French fries and onion rings for breakfast (see photos). No juice available either due to a “broken machine”. Only instant coffee available. Nothing was labelled so it was impossible to know what the other dishes were or what allergens they contained. Bread was stale. Shower - shower base was made of the same tiles as the bathroom floor. The slippers they provide were as thin as a sheet of paper so the conditions were super slippery. Bedroom - too cosy for 3 people, barely any space to place bags. Lack of plugs to charge phones. Only one coat hanger inside the wardrobe. No bin in the bedroom, only a small one in the bathroom. The bedroom also gets super stuffy as the air con won’t work when we’re out. General - only one key given for a triple room, which isn’t ideal when that one key is also needed for the electricity.

The hotel is located in a very good location. There are restaurants and a tram stop around. You can walk to Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque, as well as Gulheni Park. The hotel staff is very attentive, and the hotel is good for the price. Don't forget to ask for cleaning every morning, because that's the rule. I recommend this hotel.

Very poor

The room is smaller than expected but exceeded my expectations. We had room 309 which had an amazing view, exactly as shown in the presentation pictures. We found the room clean with freshly washed towels and nice soft bedsheets. We have expected some slippers but we found the housekeeping lady which provide us 3 pairs. The receptionists were both very nice but, unfortunately our TV did not worked and none of them has been able to help us with the issue. The balcony is perfect for quiet nights, the view of our room was exactly the one from the picture on the site but , despite the daily cleaning, it was still dirty( due to seagulls and pigeons). Breakfast quite poor but satisfactory and just perfect for a good start of the day( we checked the prices of food, generally in the grocery stores and we realized that as it is so expensive we should be happy there is still a breakfast), the lady serving the breakfast was incredibly nice and humble, greeting us every day with a smile . We did smoked in the balcony! Everything was perfect and for the amount we have paid we did not expect more. If there is a minus point, I need to say that the room lacks some hooks for jackets to be hanged or even the towels. Otherwise here is no minus !
