No access to cars n taxis in-front of the hotel. As we had to carry our luggage to where taxis can stop which is I think due to the location of the hotel. And that was only 2 minutes walking! I didn’t mind anyways!

Okay well the AC did seem to have a mind of its own and was very difficult to understand but the staff could change it from their room. I would have kept the doors open all night for a perfect sea breeze but there is a call to prayers every morning at 4:40 from a nearby mosque which I can't even understand. So I guess everybody gets up at 4:40. Has the only reason I closed the doors and had to deal with the air conditioning. I had a corner Room with a big balcony and it was perfect although a very annoying fan in the bathroom and the bathroom was dimly lit. Fill the view made up for it all. The bed was comfortable the pillow one was okay the other very hard.

Excellent location with Istiklal Street and many transport hubs on your doorstep. We walked across the Galata bridge into the the old city rather than take transport. Vibey Karakoy and the the waterfront are also on your doorstep. The rooms were compact but well appointed . There is noise in the rooms especially on the weekends but that is par for the course if you want to stay on Istiklal Street. Breakfast is excellent but the view is unforgettable! What a treat! But the true gems of this wonderful hotel are the staff. Friendly and ever ready to assist you. Alev is the star of the show. She went out of her way to make our stay truly magical and even upgraded our room. She is one of a kind! I would recommend this hotel very highly and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. The hotel is amazing, friendly staff, quick replies before arrival in whatsapp. We came with my bestie to celebrate her bday and it was amazing experience. Rooms are cleaned every day, nothing leaks or looks spoiled, small but very practical room with big window (we've got the side view towards the buildings, but still it was nice). Breakfast is good, not a huge restaurant but the view is breathtaking. Food is fresh and nice, more than enough to get energy for city exploration. Friday and weekends evenings are a bit loud from the street with bars and shops right behind the hotel, so it's noisy at night with an open window for some fresh air. (we were knocked out from walking all day around the city and it didn't bother us much)

Also the staff in the Restaurant at 7th floor especially the lady I forget the name arranging the tables and speak English very well To provide Arabic TV channels like Alarabiya MBC and MBC action

I liked the restaurant with the view and staff. Especially Ceylan hanim and Lhasan bey were very helpful and professional. M. Lhasan at the reception works as a computer in finding and explaining the best routes to reach any place in and outside the city. The room was a bit smaller than I expected at first. I was scared about the noise from Istiklal street, but after all it wasn’t that disturbing on my 5th floor. Even though the party nights were quite lively from my window.
