Sunlight Hotel

Hotell staff is very welcoming. Room was nice and clean. I loved that the hotell is located close to the touristi area, but at nighttime its really quiet. Makes it easy to get a good night's sleep. Breakfest was ok for me. Best addition to their services was that i could leave my luggage at the reception after checkout. Made it super comfortable to stroll around the city before my flight without having to drag my suitcase with me everywhere. 10/10

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the most important attractions of the Fatih neighbourhood! Pleasant and attentive hotel staff! Very hospitable! I also liked the room. It was well and pleasantly decorated, good quality beds, clean bed linen! Special thanks to the girl who cleaned every day, it was always nice to come back to the neatly cleaned hotel room! We enjoyed the breakfasts too! We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant several times! It was a very tasty assortment of meats! Thank you! I liked the hotel!

The location was so close to the Sahil( coast), Grand Bazar, Tramway and lots of shops and good restaurants, alive area and safe, the staff were so nice, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good; and different options also we tried the dinner and it was good, and their turkish tea and coffee was so good. The cleanliness was average. Was acceptable but I expected to be more clean.

The location is perfect, with all of Sultanahmet’s attractions just a short walk away. The staff are warm and welcoming, always ready to help. The local restaurant is also excellent, offering tasty food, good service, and a cozy atmosphere at prices comparable to nearby spots. Breakfast was a standard buffet with a variety of options like vegetables, fruits, eggs, chicken nuggets, cereals, bread, deserts etc. However, the quality and variety could be improved, as there were no yogurts, no scrambled eggs, only instant coffee, and no natural juices. The room was small (I stayed alone) but nice, clean, and with good service. The only issue was a smell in the bathroom that disappeared when the water was running, likely due to a problem with the siphon.

Very close to both the Grand Bazar and the Egyptian Bazar, also to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and Basilica cistern. Very friendly staff. The room was clean, pretty comfortable and thankfully very noise-free and the breakfast was good also.

The hotel Bergwest was fully satisfactory for my stay and would be suitable for a wide range of guests. The room was clean and comfortable, providing a pleasant environment. Although the location was slightly removed from the city center, it offered a calm and convenient atmosphere, especially for those who prefer a quieter setting. The hot water supply was limited, particularly in the early morning, and it required careful timing (between approximately 7:30 and 8:00), which was somewhat inconvenient. Additionally, the water was not consistently hot throughout the day. The internet connection was also not very strong, which posed some challenges as I needed it for work purposes. Despite these minor issues, the overall experience was acceptable.

Property location is really great close to everything. Walk to Grand Bazaar within 10 minutes and blue mosque also 8 to 10 minutes walk really recommend that location to Friend and family

The hotel is in a great location — close to major sightseeing spots and the sea. The price is very reasonable, offering excellent value for money. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and suitable for everyone — whether you’re traveling alone or with family. The staff are extremely polite and kind, always ready to help. If I visit Istanbul again, I would definitely choose to stay at this hotel.

The location was great! We could visit the Blue Mosque in less than 10 minutes. There was on outside noise and the room was just what we were looking for.

Central to major tourist attractions Room was dirty. Food was left in the fridge from previous guest. Second room is a pull out couch, which was already converted into a bed. When we tried to put it back to a couch, it was disgusting underneath. The windows were stuffed with old bedsheets. Staff were friendly
