The locations was great and the staff were really nice in reception. Also, the design and style of the place is nice. The free tea at reception was a nice touch. The Air Conditioning was off and could only be turned on by getting reception to turn it on for the whole building. They were nice and did this for us, but it's odd to need to call reception every time you want to adjust the AC. There are thermostats in the room but they informed us these dont do anything since it's adjusted downstairs by the hotel. There was also a big spider in the bathroom and a box of tissues with used tissues in the bathroom. Finally, the comforter for the bed was crazy small, it didn't fully cover the whole bed. They were nice and gave us a second though.

I could hear a lot of noise from the street at night in my room, but in a busy area like this it's to be expected I guess.

Also, the area is really nice and you can easily walk around the neighborhood and find nice cafes and restaurants.

Nice fresh bold design, surgically clean and modern room, comfy bed and ideal location right next to Istiklal shopping street. Sinem took very good care of us??

The staff were wonderful, especially Mustafa at the front desk — he was extremely kind, professional, and helpful. He assisted us with every detail and made us feel truly welcome. We highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

For those reasons, the Westist hotel was the perfect place for our stay; located very close to a lot of the spots, the Metro, and the bus. It’s also very close to the famous Istiklal Cadesi, but it has the perfect shield from the loud nature of it. Mustafa was extremely polite and kind, always ready to answer any questions. He did everything from helping us check in, to showing us how to get around, and booking cabs to the airport. I highly recommend staying there if you want to be surrounded by kind and positive staff, be close to the tourist hub, and get some good rest at the end of your long day. The hotel will be my go-to, the next time I’m in Istanbul.

Great location literally 2 mins from the main high street which leads up to taksim square On a quiet side street so you miss a lot of the noise and hustle and bustle Rooms were really clean Staff was pleasant and helpful all needs were catered for The rooms AC wasn’t functional unfortunately There were no hangers so for two people the rooms generally didn’t accommodate anywhere to hang things up. One hanger was in the bathroom only and you can make use of the wardrobes The mirrors were dark ( the wardrobe mirrors) and only one mirror was usable between two people in a room.

Property is clean and very close to Galata and İstiklal. Very accessible to all bus and train stations. Very friendly, approachable and helpful crews Mustafa, Sinem and Ayshe.

The hotel is centrally located steps away from the action of Istiklal Street with Galata Tower and Taksim Square within a few minutes walk. As I was travelling with older family members, the flat terrain and taxi rink at the back of the hotel were added plus points. The rooms were well appointed with everything you need for a comfortable stay and were very clean. However, what made us come back here for our second stay was the warmth and kindness of the hotel staff. Especially Mustafa who was always there with a ready smile and kind welcome. His suggestions for things to do and restaurants to try were the highlight of our trip and we knew we could count on him if we needed anything. I highly recommend this hotel!
