Kumluk Konak Hotel

Host was cooperative and helped us with early checkin and luggage storage. Location is good and close to tram station. Lot of food options close by. Congested stairways proving difficulty in carrying luggage. The windows are not capable of insulating outside noise.

Location was great. Around a 10-20 mins walk to the Grand Bazaar, Blue Mosque or suleymaniye mosque, etc. The person on the counter was very friendly and helpful. It was kinda a one-bed apartment with everything equipped, including fridge, microwave, stove etc. The room/apartment was on the 3rd floor without a lift. kinda spiral stairs, which were fine for adults, but kids were not very comfortable.

Savas, the owner treated me like family. It is a small hotel in a great location with just about everything you need for homey basics. The spiral staircase is a small challenge!

After staying at Kumluk Konark Hotel for 3 days, we went on a trip to Cappadocia and returned at 1 AM Midnight . The owner, Savas, went out of his way to upgrade our room for the night, which was such a thoughtful gesture after a long journey. He was incredibly helpful throughout our stay, always ready to assist with anything we needed. The hotel itself is cozy, comfortable, and in a great location, making it easy to explore Istanbul. If I ever return to Istanbul, I’ll definitely stay at Kumluk Konark Hotel again—highly recommend it for its excellent service and warm hospitality! None

He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. He was incredibly friendly and helpful, even assisting with our luggage upon arrival. It was within walking distance of everything we wanted to see. It was very convenient for food and groceries. The staff was very nice and we were able to use the washer and dryer which worked out great for us.

Central location, and staff was able to do our laundry. Provided helpful directions on how to get to sites. Soap and shampoo dispensers were empty. Once staff was informed, they were filled up. Hair dryer would turn off and a while of use. After showering a puddle of water would remain on the shower floor.

It was very clean and warm and we felt safe. The bed is very comfortable. The hotel is 15min walk to city centre Sultanahmet. The owner, Savaş is super nice and friendly. We recommend this stay and will visit everytime we will ne in Istanbul! ? Nothing. Everything was perfect.

Kind recepcionists, price, room interior is greatly decorated with wooden elements, location. They do not accept paying by card, mold in the shower, liquid soap containers semi-functional, too much light (from the street) in the room during the night.

The hotel is within walking distance of Sultan Ahemt Mosque. It is close to the Kumkapi station of the T6 railway line, which can take you to Sirkeci station. It was convenient because I wanted to take the BUDO ferry from Eminonu/Sirkeci port to Mudanya port. The hotel owner was quick to give me advice when I had any problems.

Exceptional

Nothing I don’t know how this place got this rate on booking. I believe it is fake. It’s very far from any meter or bus station. The facilities are very bad and old. It’s impossible to go to the second or third floor with your bag

very comfortable bed, very friendly owner (offered me an umbrella during the rain), the room was quiet and clean. I was cooking also in the kitchen - everything was working properly. no minuses
