Capital O Hotel Central, Xalapa

Everything was Ok

The staff that received me at 3am was really nice. The location is great. The old lady from the checkout was really rude. She denied me the service of keeping my luggage. I'm injured because I had to carry all my luggage everywhere. The facilities are pretty average, the breakfast isn't worth.

The location is great because you're next to the bus station. There's no A/C, the staff when we arrived were not good, our room was delivered after 3pm, and it was ready way before that time, we repeatedly asked them if it was ready but all they said was "not yet" until by radio it was said by someone that it was ready a long time ago. Long trip all we wanted was sleep. Maybe next time a hotel nearby is enough. The room is way to small and we booked the "superior" which is the third most expensive in the hotel.

Hotel is conveniently located across the street from main intercity bus station. Several good restaurants were close by and it wasn't that far from the historical downtown area. Breakfast was decent and plenty. Not elevators.

-convenient location since our bus arrived late. People were there for our check in at midnight -room was nice and comfortable -actually not too noisy even though it is on a Main Street -booking says breakfast is included but it is an extra 140 pesos per person

I was placed on a room to the street, mucho ruido toda la noche de los autos room 401 I requested to be moved, receptionist refused

Just before reserving at booking.com I called the hotel in order to ask if the rooms had air conditioner, the lady said yes so I proceeded to make the reservation. After doing the check in and paying by credit card, we went to the room and realized it did not have air conditioner. I went to make a claim to the receptionist, but she said did not have any room with AC, so she offered a fan, which was not an option for us. The weather in Xalapa was very hot, so that's why I was requiring the AC. At the end, I had to look for another hotel. The Capital O Hotel did not give my money back, with the argument that this was a mistake from booking (???). Terrible experience with this hotel, very bad customer service, and they do not honor their reputation just not to loss the cost of 1 night.

The staff were sweet The traffic is noisy, the hotel is in an intersection and the windows don’t shut.

We had a really nice stay at this hotel, only one night and everything was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was also really good, I would book again the hotel Capital O, Thank you for the excelent service!

Looks like there was an event going on. the other guests were talking super loud, laughing and were very disrespectful. the hotel offered a continental breakfast that was so average. disgusting “juice” and eggs. I found a bug in the room. they gave me the room where I could hear all the traffic noise. never had an experience that awful before.
