We had 2 problems: neither were adequately addressed. 1) The maid broke a portable waterpik that we had plugged in. They replaced it with an inferior cheaper European model, *which i was only ablwe rio use for 2 days before returning home (not useable in the USA). When I told them that I wanted to have a new one for the US, they insisted that I use the European model for two days and promised me reimbursement afterwards. When we requested compensation for the Waterpik, the manager changed her mind and refused. I insisted that I would never have chosen to use a Waterpik for two days, rather than half a replacement for the one in the US, which I would use for years to come. 2) On an other day when we returned to our room after maid service, our room smelled strongly of smoke. We were concerned that someone came in our room that was unauthorized. We were unable to see Hotel video of who entered into our room. We had to wait hours for a return phone call and for someone to come up to confirm that our room smelled like smoke. The security staff tried to tell us that someone was smoking outside our room, and that the smoke was sucked into our room through a vent, although the hallway didn't smell of smoke. Ridiculous. Both events required us to stay in our room for hours waiting for return phone calls and for staff to come up and address our issues. Customer service at this hotel is terrible compared to the USA. Customer service could have addressed our 2 problems. 1) Reimbursement for our broken Waterpik 2) Figuring out how our room smelled of smoke. We were never advised who entered our room. We were not given the ability to review the tapes. We were forced to spend hours on these two issues waiting for staff to address our concerns and our stay at this $1000 a day hotel did not meet our expectations

Breakfast was amazing!!

Great location and a well maintained property. Nothing not to like.

But for the price point things were broken in my room and while some things were fixed others were not. The concierge was not helpful in directing me to bus stops or streets not sure if it was the language although one said I have a car I don’t use that app to get around. They were very helpful in storing my luggage. At breakfast hard to get coffee or special drinks. They were very busy but seemed to have their favorite customers.

The breakfast was amazing! Samer, the coffee barista was truly an artist. We have never seen such incredible cappuccino art. The staff were great and the room was very clean. The furniture could use a little refreshing but all in all our experience was great! The pool overlooking the Old City is spectacular. Saturday evening dinner service in the upstairs restaurant. We were ignored boy the staff and it took forever to get served. We had a cranky and hungry 2 year old with us.

Cannot beat the view of the old city from the terrace where breakfast and dinner served

I was abused by Dan Panorama hotel staff before moving to David Citadel. David Citadel staff were friendly and professionals. Multiple problems in the room. Sink wasn't draining, light bulb went out although they fixed it quickly. Sink made noise all throughout the night disturbing our rest. For the price I expected better.

Overall a good experience, the staff were very polite and respectful. My request for separate beds was actually not approved, even though I got the message it was. There was no toilet paper on the last day, which is very strange for a hotel of that range. The location is great, meals were excellent. But I think there are better options for the money.

We received the room after an hour of queuing, in a catastrophic state, the toilets dirty, the room full of dust. apart from that, it is freezing in the whole hotel we had to stay locked in the rooms. they do not put the heating. very bad experience for a huge price.
