The staff was amazing and so were the views

It was clean and the location was 10 mins walk to juefen old Taipei No elevator.i traveled with a senior citizen and they gave us a room at the 3rd floor without an elevator.

The owner was amazing. Everything was clean and worked well.

Local B&B at walking distance where shops and street food are available, very nice in the evening with all the lanterns lit up. The lady welcomed us on arrival and helped us with parking and check-in, although she spoke only Chinese. The rooms were clean and comfortable for a 1-night stay and aircon heating was appreciated with the cold weather outside. The shower was a local one (over the sink) but there was a bigger bathroom available on the same floor. There is a lounge area that we used, and it has drinking water, tea, and coffee available. The rooms had a balcony with view over the bay. Breakfast was very basic (a sandwich and a tea) but it was ok to start the day. All good! Very friendly people, probably the best guest house you can find with that location.

The lady in charge is super nice! Would ask you what you would like for breakfast and next day would be hung there. Location is near to jiufen. Place is a little old but that is what makes it special and quaint.

Magical!

Location is perfect. Easy accessible from the bus stop (1-min walk from 代天府站) and parking lots. If you have lots of luggage and don't want to carry them through the famous and never-ending Jiufen stairs you may want to consider here. Not far from the old street, about 5 mins walk. View is pretty good. Room is not very spacious. All our family member will not be able to sit in the room but can use the public area or the balcony. Breakfast is OK. We got pork sandwich/soy bean milk or sweet tea from a nearby breakfast store (I guess?) but pretty tasty. There is no elevator in this facility.

The guesthouse is simple but very well located and clean, the lady that welcomed us could not speak English but she was extremely kind and did everything she could do make us feel good Breakfast could have been better

Location / view

The host ordered the breakfast from outside, the food tasted good. The air & B was at very convenient location, close to bus stop and JiuFen old street. The host was very nice and helpful, she communicated with us for the detailed direction to get to the hotel ahead of time. The room was big and the view was really good from the hotel window.
