Wangyuku B&B

Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Only 7-minute walk to Jiufen Old Street (but you share the road with cars...). Free biskuits (also noodles, but I wish they offered vegetarian ones). I wish I could give a better rating, but certain details did not make my stay totally pleasant. The bed is too hard. There were a few ants coming from who knows where (I also saw a mosquito, but they provide repellent). The fridge was noisy (I turned it off, so the ice melted and I had to wash the floor, my bad). When you have a shower, the whole bathroom gets totally wet. And the rain made horrible sounds all over the walls. Also, there is a nice view, but the way the windows are did not allow me to enjoy it. Plugs and other utilities feel either old or unfinished.

Everyone was wonderful, it feels like going to visit family. Clean and comfortable, nice area away from crowds and very close to the bus stop!

The location is great. The way to park your car is a bit difficult te find but the owner was so kind to escort is down. The breakfast was nice and it is a small walk to the centre of Jiufen The bed was a bit hard

Very very friendly people at Wangyuku. It was a pleasure to be there. It was clean and very close to the bus station and city. They was very kind to us and they explained for us everything what we could do in the city and roundabout. It was a bit keen-eared

The location was fantastic, a beautiful view from the room and common area and only 10-15 minutes walk to Jiufen Old Town. The host, Leo, and his daughter-in-law Sophia were lovely and very accommodating, making breakfast for us and giving recommendations on spots to visit. The room we stayed in was accessed via a very steep staircase with low headroom, although there were a few ground level rooms as well which would avoid those stairs. Also be aware that you may find bugs around, especially at night.

It is lucky to have this experience to choose this BNB,coz the boss of this place is kind. And the breakfast is fine enough,which is made by his own.? I will choose it next time I come to jiufen again. Nope

Excellent location and gorgeous view. Lovely and friendly dog. The place is pet friendly and the owner is very warm and kind. Would definitely come back.

The staff was excellent, very helpful and friendly. They made sure we had everything we needed. The location is absolutely fantastic, just a 3 min drive away from Jiufen old street. They had parking available at the property (yay!), which is difficult to find in the neighborhood mountain houses. Breakfast was included and served as well. The view from the property is breathtaking I paid 2000 for a certain room with a balcony and a view but when we got there we were given a different, much worse room. The owner explained that since we had a dog, the other nicer room couldn't be given to us. Since all the room prices were the same, I can't complain but be careful which room you book because the one we got was absolutely not worth 2k for a night.
