Parking is quite hard to get is you're going to check in around 2pm

Only hard boiled eggs, when asking for a fried egg, i was requested to pay extra. really? buffet breakfast mediocre.

The room is big and location very good Sound proof might need to improve. Can hear the noise from next door

Below expectations. Senang cari makan, tu je. My recent stay at Hallmark Regency Hotel was unfortunately far below expectations. While the hotel's location is reasonably convenient, the overall guest experience was disappointing. The room appeared dated and poorly maintained, with signs of wear and tear that should have been addressed long ago. Cleanliness was also a concern, as certain areas of the room and bathroom did not meet acceptable hospitality standards. Several guests have similarly reported issues such as unpleasant odors, cleanliness shortcomings, poor soundproofing, and maintenance problems. past guests have raised similar concerns regarding room conditions and discrepancies between expectations and reality. The lady receptionist - Very rude!!!!

Rooms were clean, check-in & check-out was easy & didn't take long. Requested for connecting room, which was not available but staff upgraded our rooms. Thank you! Breakfast spread not as I expected. It's good, but not that many variety

The morning breakfast was a little disappointing. No even one meat menu at all.

Old refurbished hotel, bed are totally not comfortable..the girl who at reception talk so fast,I didn’t know what’s she so rushing for, low customer service

First time booking this hotel I am happy to stay here the seasons why 1. Big rooms 2. Free breakfasts complementary 3. Near Night Market 4. Near shopping mall Nothing

The hotel has provided good facilities that meet my needs and expectations at a reasonable price with a strategic location. Definitely one of the hotels that is highly recommended to those looking for hotel accommodation in JB. Parking area is quite limited although not a big issue but is good for any facility improvement efforts

Price and location is very good. Cleanliness is well-maintained. Many reviews here highlighted the negative aspect of this hotel but they are just paying RM100 per night. If they want better facilities they should go hotels which cost RM300 per night where the towels are white and fluffy, bed sheets are freshly white and smooth together with thick walls to avoid hearing loud snores/conversations. I have to say that the no-window room I was given was a tsk for me despite choosing a room with window. But with a good price I just settled.

The food was excellent, and the chef was friendly, approachable, and made the dining experience even more enjoyable. I also found the pricing to be reasonable and value for money given the level of service and overall experience provided. I stayed here during a business trip and was thoroughly satisfied with my experience. I recommended this hotel to my office colleagues. If I were to travel with my family for a vacation, I would definitely choose this hotel again without any hesitation. Thank you once again for your outstanding hospitality and attentive care throughout my stay. The only minor consideration is that the hotel does not have its own parking facilities, which may be something for guests traveling by car to take note of. However, this did not significantly affect my overall experience.

- located in the city centre. Getting around Johor through private hires was convenient. - surrounded by medical centres. I was mainly here for medical reasons and it's all within walking distance. - there's an excellent food court just behind the hotel serving local cuisines. Perfect place to dine after a long day. - rooms are larger than what I was expecting. - air-conditioning was cold. - beds were comfortable. - water heater works great. - water refill station by the elevator. - reception hall was warm. A little too uncomfortable being around the area. Only had standing house fans to get airflow - no soundproofing in the rooms. You can hear people talking, walking and our neighbours had their TV on loud. Difficult to get a good night's sleep. - room is dim. Would prefer a little brighter. - mineral water in the room were chargeable expenses. Even though there was a jug and couple of cups available. Just waiting for the water filter to fill up the jug would take quite a while. - smoking benches in front of the hotel. Making your way to the front door or exiting the premise, you're just walking pass smokers and getting hit by the smell of cigarettes. Not very non-smoker friendly

The house keeping is fantastic and the Malaysian lady was very helpful during the cleanover of the room The staff at the restaurant were not very helpful. Almost everything we asked for, I was told they don't have. They don't speak English and it's a difficult communication element

Staff is friendly and understanding. They helped to meet our room requests for convenience of elderly guests. Thank you! Friendlies of staff and good breakfast.

The iron not properly usable and iron board not suitable to use and breakfast should add egg menu
