Henn na Hotel Premier Kagoshima Tenmonkan

Considering the low price, this was more than OK. It's easy to reach from the main train station and is right next to a major shopping, food and entertainment area. The hotel itself is fine, however it doesn't look super new or modern. Although the room was rather small, we had enough space, and the LG Styler was also nice to have. We didn't miss anything significant. Most amenities are on the reception floor, along with washing machines and luggage storage. This is mostly a self service hotel, but staff is on location to help, if needed. I simply don't like carpet floor, there were many stains in the hallway and also some in the room. The bathroom was tiny. The kind of tiny where a part of the sink is in the shower. We sent our luggage forward to our next hotel (from the same chain), and I had the impression that the staff member was a bit overwhelmed with the request. It worked out fine, but the process was very slow and the complete lack of English in tourism is a bit worrisome.

Location was amazing. So many fun things to do and great access to transit. Easy, fun check in. Great room. Great facilities.

It’s located on the tram line and walking distance to shopping, bars and restaurants. It’s easy to get around, but none of the sights are close however. The rooms are decent, a bit small, but functional. You could also leave luggage for free. The bathroom was tiny. I’m a big guy and managed, but you don’t want to be bigger than me (115kg).

Kiosk check-in was a little bit inconvenient. I missed the human touch at check-in. Breakfast restaurant was an outside vendor in the first floor, which was not clarified at the time of reservation and selection of food was limited. On top of that, coffee was not included in the prepaid breakfast option.

The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The sento was really nice and a pleasant surprise. We opted for the breakfast (a set) and it was excellent - very good quality, filling, and the restaurant staff were kind and friendly. With the location and cost, this was an excellent value. Nothing.

The location was ideal and very easily accessible to shopping & dining places. Most places were walkable or just a short drive away. For those who love late nights, the Donki mart opposite gives you options to go shopping and get your necessities easily. Happy to recommend this place to visitors I was surprised that everything from check-in & out was fully automated and there was no physical person at the hotel reception. But thankfully, there was a phone nearby to contact and the person in the office was available for help & clarification.

The breakfast was at the restaurant adjacent to the hotel. I had the breakfast two times because I enjoyed it so much the first time. The location of the hotel was fantastic. Very convenient with the tram across the road and close to the bus stops, also close to the restaurants and shops of. Tenmonkan. I liked it all. I'm so glad the staff was available and helpful because I'm not the most tech savvy person. It would not have been able to complete the check-in process without the staff member.

Great location for train and bus access. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. Easy check-in and check-out process. Helpful staff. They wouldn’t accept mail delivery during my stay so that I couldn’t receive items I had accidentally left behind at my last hotel. I realize it was my fault but still it would have been easier if I could have routed my items to the hotel where I was actually staying at. That was the only negative during my stay.

Clean large room, great location and has a onsen which is really nice bonus in a hotel in this location for the value. I also enjoy not having to deal with staff at check in etc.... perfect hotel and we will certainly be staying here again. Nothing. cant say there was anything we didnt like

The check-in animation was fun. The staff worked out cheapest option for parking which was very helpful.

It says the hotel has sauna but women’s public bath don’t have sauna,it’s dissapointing.

Ease to come around: checking in and checking out is one of the funniest and smooth experience I ever had. The place is quite central and near the night live of Kagoshima no need for a car to simply go around there. None

The breakfast was good. However, some more options would have been appreciated. The staff at the restaurant was super friendly and welcoming ad well so it really made up for it.
