Proteas Hotel

Peaceful location, just a short walk from the center, bus stop, supermarkets, restaurants and Kamari Beach. The room was cleaned daily, and fresh towels were provided every day. The beds are comfortable. The breakfast was the same every day — it would have been nice to have some variety. There was no second key, so we couldn't keep the air conditioning or fridge running while we were out, which was a bit inconvenient. Also, the absence of a swimming pool was a discomfort, considering the sea in Santorini is mostly stormy.

The location is excellent, walking distance to the beach, shops, restaurants, and supermarkets. It feels like the quintessential Greek little Villa, with the beautiful bougainvillea hanging on every balcony. The rooms are spacious, super clean, and the beds are comfortable with nice linens and towels. The Internet is very strong, which is important for me as I work remotely. The breakfast is very bountiful, delicious and in a beautiful sitting room again with the lovely feeling of the Bougainvillea dangling in front of the window. What really makes this property are the owners, so friendly and accommodating and caring. I highly recommend this property and will return.

Fantastic hotel very close to the beach and to the city center. The breakfast was brilliant, everything is clean, the hotel staff was very kind and guest friendly. Super hotel, super city, super Island. Proteas Hotel, the best choice in Santorini.

The location is very close to the sea, there are many shops and restaurants around. The hotel and the room were kept very clean all the time. The stuff is extremely kind and helpful. Everything was perfect.

Great location and great host. The room was super clean and the breakfast was delicious. You can get to the beach in 3-4 minutes.

I loved the location. The hotel is so cute and located on a great street. The staff is wonderful and really make you feel at home. This is a gem for the value and breakfast is included. Maybe more pillow options. I like floater pillows and they only had really fluffy ones.

Location of the hotel is perfect. Short distance to restaurants and the beach. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend and stay again. The hotel is located on a busy street and can be very noisy during weekends / late hours when trying to sleep.

Perfect location. Very clean throughout and new looking bathroom. Great place to stay in Kamari. The beach is just a couple of minutes down an alley across from the hotel and a great restaurant just down the road. Nothing. You can't fault this for the money.

This is very nice family owned hotel. Location is great. And the staff is the reason we had the best time. They are so friendly and helpfull. As we are vegans they made sure we got a special breakfast every morning. They helped with advices what to see and do around the island. And they also organized taxi ride to the airport. We felt like home as soon as we came, even though we arrived at midnight. They welcomed us very nicely. We really recommend you to choose this place for the holidays. I am sure you will not regret it. //

Lovely little hotel. Our room was clean and comfortable with a beautiful balcony. It would have been nice to have better tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

My girlfriend and I are very happy of our staying at Proteas! The room was very nice and clean, with a small but lovely balcony. The shower very comfortable! Good also the breakfast. Athena and her mom are very kind and they help you in everything you need. My girlfriend and I will come back for sure if in Santorini again!

Wonderful little hotel, very close to the beach, restaurants and shops. Staff were so nice and helpful, breakfast was tasty, products are always fresh, homemade cake was so delicious. Cleaning service was excellent, Thank you and fully recommend. No pool there, but it is not a problem, sea is very close
